I grew up with two giagantic lilac bushes, they actually would have been considered trees because of thir size, but we called them bushes. And when they started bossoming my mother alwasys cut off some brances to have in our house. Their smell was wonderful,, magical. Here in Greece I sometimes yearn for it..
