Great art! Keep up the good work? 🙂
Thank you very much! And you too!
Beautiful shades of green and yellow with the flowing line of a facial profile. Yes I know it’s there 🙂
I’m very glad to hear that! Thanks!
This is very interesting, & I really like it. The colour, the shape, the outline of a woman’s profile in the line down the middle – really like it.

Cheers, Sharp!
Really beautiful simplicity!
Ah, thank you, Anne!
Goodness Marina ! I am getting confused as to which is my favourite composition thusfar — ALL ! ” Character 16″ weaves dreams and cuts right through…paradox. Love the oil texture, it’s brilliant. In this piece, there is a pull between union and release. Ah, what a beauty, this Character 16! Stay gold, my dear friend! Cheers.
My dear Shaheen, you always write such wonderful comments… what can I say?! Thank you, kind friend!
No, thank you for the art — such a blessing to see your work. Shine!
LOVE this piece! Your work reflects just how refreshing you are as well. Love it! Wowee.. and I’m real picky about art too.. wow!
Pink.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I truly appreciate it!
it’s the absolute truth. 😀 Hope it pushes you along in your creations! 😀
Pink.
You should name it ”The kiss”
It’s perfect!
I like that! Maybe I should! Thank you Dominique!
Do you prime the paper? I see that the oil isn’t spreading. Nice painting 🙂
Thank you Carla. No I haven’t. [if you look closely -top right- the oil is there! But I kinda like it! I’m always curious what it will do!]
clear minimalism! better than any diffuse politics!
Oh, what a compliment!
Nice
Thank you!

My one word response: WOW!
Oh, Thank you, Karen!
I definitely saw the two different faces immediately, one being on the “darker” side, and the other on the “sunnier” side. Nicely done! I don’t know why, but the green and yellow are making me think of a banana leaf, which I can’t see having anything to do with the image.
“banana leaf”?!!! I love that! …and why not?! Thank you Fergiemoto for your wonderful comments!
your version of the ‘yin-yang’ huh! i think its wonderful!!
I think you’re right! Thank you, Jayanth!
Thank you marina to follow me blog.
A good mix of two different impressions here, in my view…
Colours also have a nature…
You are very welcome and thank you, Keshav!
positive and negative at its best – well done ….
Ah, thank you, Isadora!
The two faces is intriguing. Outside of the color differences, I don’t see the two moods … then again, maybe that’s it. Well done Marina!
Thank you, Frank! [Maybe the word “moods” is confusing. It’s like two sides of the same person?…]
Ah ha … I didn’t think of that. Thanks.
I see two faces, but more so on the yellow side. Your clever line down the center is what created them. 🙂
xo
Thank you Deb! Yep it is two faces [or one in different moods…]
I didn’t see it right off. At first I thought, “No way..two color swatches, there has got to be something here I’m not seeing yet. Then the faces appeared! Great, Marina!
I’m very glad you saw …and liked it!
Love it, like spring and summer greeting each other with a rush.
That sounds so nice, Bones. Thank you!
