  1. You, dear Marina, are an epitome of inspiration! totally love this composition – it’s a ballad. X

  2. Beautiful, Marina. This is so peaceful. I love how you use color temperature, warm and cool.

  3. Lovely, and so soft and pleasing to the eyes! Sometimes who we really are on the inside (or who we want to be) is not who we are on the outside.
I like how you magnify parts of your artwork showing us the detail in your talented brush strokes. It amazes me!

    • You are TOO kind FM! Thank you so much! I think it’s just a matter of realizing that we’re consisted of a multitude of things some of which we’ll never discover so maybe we should stop trying to find tags to describe us… Just a thought.

  4. It looks to me like the water has transformed them from deciduous trees to coniferous trees. This opens up a whole world of wierdness to consider: does this represent transformation, that the water gives or prolongs life? I mean if they have been transformed by the water to coniferous trees then they won’t lose their leaves in autumn.
I’m just making noise now aren’t I? I think I’ll stick to widdling on trees rather than thinking too deeply about them.
    Love the painting : )

  5. I really like the subtle feeling of theses watercolours. And the restricted use of colours, too. Beautiful. My favourite is the first one, maybe a little less abstract than the others, but I feel the composition is very balanced and serene.

  6. Another wonderful one. Always a pleasure. You wouldn’t think the detail close-ups would be so good, but they are too. A fractal analysis might apply: beauty and harmony of color and pattern repeating at a certain exponential rate….Anyway it’s a great watercolor.

  7. Love the trees and the reflection, you did that beautifully. It’s looks great on your products too, Marina! 🙂
