yes, marina….when i was in crete many years ago, i really loved their way of life there….very, very slow and easy….!

Lovely and refreshing!
In interior design, I find blue the hardest to work with. It looks so different from a small patch to a larger surface, from wet to dry. You seem to handle it so well Marina! 🙂
You are right. Blue is a difficult color and one I am not particularly fond of (prussian, sea blue and turquoise excluded). So maybe in my effort to make it look good to me, I achieve ‘nicer’ blues!

In October, 1494, the twenty-three Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), of Nuremberg, came in Italy to Venice.
Going to Italy, Dürer painted watercolor views of some of the places he encountered: the city of Innsbruck, a landscape in Ponte Gardena, the castle of Segonzano in Cembra valley.
Other spring of the following year he painted the itinerary of return: Arco and its cliff, the Buonconsiglio Castle and the city of Trento, a view of Klausen.
Atom sea #9: The transparency, the delicate harmony of thin layers of color from blue to green in a set of colors that fascinates; bright areas, leaving clearer obtained reveal the white of the paper, are the characteristics of your painting, dear Marina. A painting that I take inside, slowly leaving the place to the sweetness of the whole.
Just as Dürer. But here we are in the presence of the art of Marina!
The delicate effects and transparency, made with tiny “gocciature” (shades) of color, create an atmosphere that does not have the oil paintings.
This is Marina.
Cleaning, beauty and … sense of the Infinite!

I am glad you are back with the flowers. Blue is my favorite color choice for flowers I think because it is more rare than other colors. This should be a good seller because so many people love blue.
