Year after year, the trees transform and renew themselves – similar to humans continually transforming ourselves based on our circumstances. Lovely series, Marina!
🙂

YOU (and Andy Warhol) inspired me to create 4 TREE T-Shirts:

Yes, I did and I hope you did do, and all week!!! 🙂

Hi Marina,
I really like the sense of movement swirling around the crown of this tree. Like birds flocking about or fish swarming. In fact, I believe that is a green fish a little to the right of 12 o’clock at the top. 🙂
I love your surreal approach and -yes- I see it!!!
I just hope birds and fish (I say there are both!),
coexist peacefully!
Thank you, Russ!! 🙂
Marina, I especially love your leaves!! Such wonderful energetic brush strokes; I can feel the breeze! Beautiful, my dear friend! Have a wonderful week, full of good fortune! ~xo
What a beautiful comment my dear friend!! As I was doing them I had a feeling of abundance and good fortune …and leaves kept coming!! 🙂
Thank you so much, Patricia and may your week be happy and full of good fortune as well!
🙂 xxxxx
This may seem a bit odd, but the roots standout to me on this one. Who knows why, perhaps because they are so different from the others in the series.
It doesn’t seem at all odd! You are right and I am very glad you ard noticing the roots!
Thank you, Frank. Have a great week.
(I’d love a hot cross ban now!!!)
🙂
Marina, I love the series! It looks terrific!
I am so pleased to hear that, Nuno! Thank you!
🙂
Stunning, indeed! A dancing tree of life – it’s resilient growth to endure restores the meaning of gentle hope, strength against all odds. The Fortune Tree depicts a very brave human in you. And, well, the brave go where they please — I am sure you shall reach the zenith of such a tree, it is your friend’s wish for you. xxxxxx
…and mine for you too my dear, along with every good there is!
You always make me smile, my friend!
Thank you for …who you are!
xxxxxxx
🙂
And, you…. are such a lovely musician – which I just discovered today! MK-O !! Ten thumbs up! Thus, I MUST get a hold of your music…how? Please do advise where can I purchase here in Toronto? Proud of you, my friend!!! xxxxxx

My home shall always be open to you – it’s globally declared here on your lovely blog ! Just come! And, I should so interview you for my blog – about your music / art, et al…What says Marina? After the holidays I can prepare a bunch of questions and it would be a great honour to post your answers in relation to your creative world.
Keep shining, my friend! Chashme ba-durr (we Persians say this – it means: may you be protected by any evil and envious eyes, always). Normally after a praise, we say this! Yup, the superstitious civilisation we happen to live in ! Lol.
Lots of love & hugs.
Oh, I know, we have that over here too… in some places in Greece people say the opposite so that they don’t provoke spirits, for example they may say “you look so ugly”, meaning the opposite, or wear eye beads or blue beads for the “evil eye”!!!
I am honored by your proposition my dear. How could I ever refuse a talented person like you?!!! We will be in touch.
Thank you very very much!!!!!!!!
Love and hugs from me too.
🙂
