just finished reading (but no-wear near “understanding”) S. Hawkings’ “Universe in a nutshell”. your painting reminded me of a/the “string” — from “string theory”. a one-dimensional though almost-infinity-in-reach ‘object’. hmmm ….

Marina, this so classy and bold on the same time – stunning colors as always. I got my sleeve today and it’s so beautiful. I could see that it was mailed from Germany – they have the post mail system in the world, take ages to get anything from Germany. Love it, slightly too big for my netbook, but I know it will feel very good in the sleeve.

Love the blue .. and the yellow, well now, I am using my imagination here…As the yellow reminds me of some yellow yarn I have used recently in knitting.. it also sent my mind to what I have been painting today.. a mouse’s tail.. 😉 I love the detail on the close ups.. 🙂

Wonderful Marina, it’s the use of color that draws the eye, with the texture and form shapes that draw the viewer in. Love the composition.
This was such a thick layer of oil to get the texture I wanted, but it’s hard to capture it on a photograph [eventhough it was done by a pro photographer]. I am very glad you like it, Mary! 🙂
I liked this very much. I have completed several pieces similarly. Where one large piece was divided into smaller pieces, which, curiously had an entirely different feel than the first piece. My post today is such a piece. I liked that you let us see the whole process.
