I really like that second one, M. The depth. =)
Ah, thank you, my dear D!!! 🙂 xx
This is mesmerizing! Really captures the feeling of a walk through wild woods.
Ah, thank you so much! 🙂
Love colors composition , dear Marina! ❤️
xxxxx
Thank you, sweet Violet! I’m so happy you like it! 🙂 xxxx
Forest #4… it’s not in the Woodland Guide Book. No, friends, it dwells in another dimension altogether… the Kanavaki Dimension, where brushstrokes and color reach out and pull the viewer into a vortex of sensory thrills and cascading emotion!!
What an experience a Kanavaki painting is!! I always emerge with my shirt untucked, and my hair mussed up, and my socks and shoes missing, but it’s worth it– and I can’t wait to go back!!!
I think this one is your best yet, my dear Marina– it simply pulses with color and energy! Totally mesmerizing– my eyes are glazed over like donuts, my ears are buzzing like bees, and my knees are knocking together like tin cans at a recycling center. In other words, I’m a happy man… : )
A-ha-ha, the Kanavaki Dimension sounds about right!!!! My dear Mark, how you manage to send me flying each and every time you write something about my work, is beyond me! Not for the praise so much [responsible for the red circles on my face!] as for the wonderfully inventive word collaboration / composition, only you can achieve!
I’m a very happy kanavaki! 😉
Hey Girlie… I have always loved your work and ur liberal use of colour. Amazing zest u paint with. Keep it going always my dear. Love G.
Happy to see you here, G. Thank you, my dear for your very warm words! Happy weekend! 🙂
there’s a tiger in there somewhere
where where?!!! 🙂
Oh, well, she is camouflaged isn’t she?!
🙂
Someday I hope your beautiful art work gets on the cover of time magazine!
I’ve always loved the way you paint and create your own world. Awesome! 🙂
Time Magazine?!!! Wow! [are they still on paper?]
That’s a great compliment, my dear Charlie. Thank you, my friend! 🙂
I love your forest, Marina; gorgeous color combinations, very cool and mysterious, too! Hope your Wednesday has been a bright one, my friend! Hugs!
Lauren, my dear, I’m so happy you like my forest! Today was a beautiful sunny day with a light cool north wind clearing up the atmosphere. [North winds here mean a crisp view from mountain to mountain!] Hope yours was also bright and beautiful! 🙂 hugs xx
Enchanted forest 🙂 Love it as usual, Marina. But I have to say, this one is very special. #magic
Awww, Cha, what a lovely comment. Thank you! Wishing you a magical rest of the week! 🙂
I just Looooooove!!!! YOur Forest Marina… Oh how I love those swirls and the depth to the trees in their endless loops and spirals…. Amazing .. and you can tell I really Really LOVE Trees.. One of you best dear Marina.. xoxoxox Love and Hugs, Enjoy the rest of your week.. Love Sue
I know how much you love trees and it makes me even happier that you like this swirly forest! Thank you, my dear and a beautiful rest of the week to you too, Sue! 🙂 hugs xx
A marvelous piece Marina! My favourite colour palette and I love that vortex of branches!
So happy you like it, Madhu! Especially the ‘vortex’! 🙂
Warm, reassuring yet sensual energy visualized! Mother Nature at her best. Beautiful!
Ah, Elena, you are so kind!!! Thank you, my dear! 🙂
Did not think those colours can work nicely but you can do the impossible! 🙂
Ah, what a compliment! Thank you, my friend. Colors have ways of surprising us – pleasantly! 🙂
With a magic touch by you! 🙂
Very nice, warm colours, Marina. Good work.
Thank you very much, Bente! 🙂
Wonderfully brilliant as I had feeling of thrashing my way through the forest with a machete. 😉
Oh, Frank what a dynamic reaction to this painting! I love it! Thank you so much, my friend!!! 🙂
🙂
This is beautiful, Marina – very earthy, and in a subtle way, calming – which is something I need. Thanks for posting this amazing artwork!
Your words mean so much, my dear Nawfal! Thank you, my friend. Wishing you a calming new week! 🙂
It could have started out 1000% better, but I have to deal with the issues at hand, but I do appreciate your good wishes! 🙂
I am so wowed by these, Marina. The texture, the color, the everything. 🙂 Beautiful.
Oh, Debra and I am ever so wowed by your comment!!! Thank you, my dear!! 🙂
I love it. I love looking at others digital artwork too and that’s a real talent within itself. I’ve tried my hand at digital and could probably get the hang of it eventually but like you said I can’t seem to keep my hands out of the paints.
Besides what would I do with all that hundreds of dollars of supplies…lol.
True that on the cost but even if they were free, I couldn’t resist their scent and the ‘fortunate mishaps’ you get with real paint. On a computer I have to keep fighting ‘perfection’. That’s one reason why I don’t use layers, to avoid correcting. No undos! 🙂
I’m so glad you liked it, Sherry! Thank you and have a great new week ahead. 🙂
Agreed!! Have a great week yourself!
Amazing spiralling art!
Ah, Pink thank you! Spiral is in fact my favorite shape! 🙂
Hahah.. its like ribbons dancing on the canvas. 😀 So magical 😀
I love the color in this, but my favorite part is the motion.
Ah, Bongo, thank you. If you look hard you will find some …fish! [just for you though!] 😉
Dark, mysterious, yet inviting – wonderful art again Marina! Well done 🙂
Hi Ken! 🙂 Thank you, my dear friend! All three sound really nice! Have a great weekend!! 🙂
Enchanted forest? Looks magical to me! 😉
I love the ‘enchanted’!!! Thank you, Jess – I hope it is! Happy weekend, my dear!!!
LIKE it (a lot!)

A remarkable combination of drama, colour, light and movement! Excellent! Loved your vimeo! 🙂
Ah, Rebecca, thank you so much! 🙂

Have a great weekend!! 🙂
I went to your link and there was a fascinating video about creating artwork. It was great.
Ah, yes, Imagekind’s video. They do such great work! 🙂 [it’s a case of missing the obvious – sorry!]
🙂 🙂 🙂
Brilliant. Love the idea of digital painting.
You still use your hand! With a different “brush”
Bon week-end
Brian
Yep, exactly!!! Well, it does lack the scent of paint and to be honest, I enjoy getting paint dirt but it’s fun! Thank you, Brian. Have a great weekend too! 🙂
I agree with Mary. I am really drawn to this one, just as you intended. So beautiful in such lovely colors.
I’m flattered, Donna! Thank you so much, my dear! 🙂 Have a lovely weekend!
Completely dig this. Pulls me right in.
Oh, thank you, Noelle!!! 🙂
I love those ribbony swirls of burnt orange and olive greens. The shape reminds me of a ‘holloway’.
Ah – ‘holloway’ yes, I see what you mean!!!! 😉
Thank you, my dear! So happy you enjoyed my swirls! Happy weekend! 🙂
Unique design ,world of colors,to enter and discover the inner beauty.Regards.jalal
Ah, Jalal, thank you so much for your kind support with your beautiful comments! 🙂 Warmest regards!
Wow, just my favorite colors … the autumn shades. Very deep and a bit mystic. Excellent work, Marina – so proud over my netbook sleeve.
Oh, thank you so much, Viveka, I’m so glad you like it.
Sleeve also proud to be n the your company! 🙂 xx
I hope it will be … it’s so beautiful – will travel with me to Istanbul on Thursday. *smile
You should do one for 10-11″ too
🙂 Have a great time, Viveka!!
about the 10-11″, unfortunately it’s not my call for the time being, but I hope there will be one soon! I also wanted a 10″ sleeve…
Okay … let me know – and I will order one.
There is so many small laptops out there now.
I like the vertical ones best. Again, everything you do has a certain grace.
Ah, Stephen – being a kind of ‘automatic painter’ this word [grace] comes as an extremely delightful surprise! Thank you! 🙂
I don’t understand what you mean by automatic painter, but I do know what grace feels like, and all your work possesses it.
What a compliment!!!!
About automatic painting, it’s a kind of free drawing …quoting wikipedia: ‘Automatic drawing (distinguished from drawn expression of mediums) was developed by the surrealists, as a means of expressing the subconscious. In automatic drawing, the hand is allowed to move ‘randomly’ across the paper. In applying chance and accident to mark-making, drawing is to a large extent freed of rational control. Hence the drawing produced may be attributed in part to the subconscious and may reveal something of the psyche, which would otherwise be repressed.’ However don’t take it for granted. I hate labels! 😉
Wow! Love your style! 🙂
Flattered, my dear Resa! Thank you!!! 🙂
High impact and knockout effect. Brilliant dear Marina!
Oh, thank you, my kind friend! Have a beautiful weekend! 🙂
Absolutely beautiful details.
Thank you, my dear Cynthia! 🙂
This color palette is gorgeous, Marina. Very energetic and full of life! ~xxx

Marina, brilliant pieces. Love the complexity and colors, feel pulled in.
Valentine, I am so happy to hear that! Thank you, my dear!! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Mm. Hot. Mysterious, and definitely drawing one into the centre of things.
‘drawing one into the centre of things’ That’s some accomplishment!!! Thank you so much, Tish! 🙂
Oh Marina, this is an incredibly brilliant piece. Your range of depth form through the structure of lines and complex patterns, and the value plays from darks-to-light is fantastic – I’m completely drawn into Forest. Love all the warmth ~
Ah, Mary what a wonderful thing to say… Coming from a talented artist like you it means a lot! Have a beautiful weekend! 🙂 xx
So much talent 🙂
Awwww…. thank you Alex! 🙂
