A belated [by one day]

Happy New Moon!

Strange weather…
After a scorching heat wave, strong North winds and heavy clouds forebode rain and hail!
So, for some stability [!] here is a view from a window on a nice sunny day – or is it, looking in on a nice sunny day…
A sunny weekend, my friends.

  1. The Hollies once did a song called Look Thru Any Window, but I prefer to look thru Window #6 and feel gentle sunbeams on my face, and a soft breeze rustling my mustache…

Of course I experience these sensations whenever I gaze upon a Kanavaki, whether there’s a window there or not… : )

    • The Kanavaki feels privileged receiving such compliments from you – the grand master of illustration!
The Kanavaki is pleased and has made arrangements for a permanent place in mt Olympus! 🙂

  2. May the Sun always shine through your window Marina, and may it always shine upon you as you work away within your day..
Wishing you a relaxing weekend.. and the sky here was clear enough for a time yesterday to view the New Moon reflected in the daylight sky…. Not often visible through the haze of cloud in the UK..
The Wind has certainly picked up.. but is very warm today in the wind.. But we are heading for heavy rain too…
Loved your window view.. Love to you Sue xox

    • Awww, thank you so much, my dear Sue and may it shine upon your heart always. Wishing you a wonderful weekend – just as you imagine it!
much love and hugs 🙂 xxxx
ps I find subtle weather changes pleasurable, but lately our planet is becoming unpredictable and sometimes harsh.

    • Ah, thank you so much, Alexander. I’m really glad you see that. Too much darkness outside makes me want to counterbalance it! 😉
ps – the sun is back!

  3. I love the concept of the windows. I see the beautiful sky and the gorgeous garden colors…the yellows and oranges are very appealing. Lovely, Marina. How can anyone not feel brighter just looking at these beautiful watercolors! ox

  4. Beautiful color combination, Marina, I love the cool and cheerful feelings they exude and Happy New Moon to you, too! Lots of love and hugs to you! 🙂

  5. Just wonderful Marina but I still see no signature! Why? Your work is fabulous. The piece I bought is longing for a signature…….

      • Enjoying the weekend fully – oh those ominous gray skies are very scary when they show up around here. Glad they kind of went off to somewhere else and you were able to enjoy the day. Take care and have a wonderful Sunday!

  6. I quite like this one, had I not given up my planned library to house guests for the time being I think this would have been a great addition. I was planning on building a focus center into my bookshelves, now it all has to wait. Love the colors in this.

  7. The view through that window is so lovely and Summery and pretty! As I sit here typing, I can see heavy rain, grey skies, and thunder 🙂 Like you, we are having Summer storms after a few weeks of glorious weather. It’s good for the plants and the birds 🙂

    • Ah, thank you!!! 🙂
It is good, yes, and I really like summer rains. I only wish the changes wouldn’t be of that contrast! This morning we were actually looking for jackets to wear and in some parts hail fell, after two+ days of 42º+C where the atmosphere was unbreathable!

  8. Wow, beautiful and cheerful colors! Loved them.

Here, the monsoon is playing hide and seek. Clouds are showing up but not raining.
