Liebe Marina einen schönen Sonntag Morgen wünsche ich dir mit vielen lieben Grüßen in Freundschaft Klaus
Whew!! (mops brow) I’m sorry it took me so long to get here, my dear Marina. I’m drenched to the bone! I’m shivering with delight! I have a fish in every pocket, and seaweed in my socks!!
After much rumination, what happened seems clear: your amazing work is so powerful, it stirred up the forces of nature far beyond the originating canvas. The emotional content of your work is so strong, it disrupts both three-dimensional space, and cyberspace!!
Just getting to your blog was a monumental task. Being your #1 fan, of course, I was highly motivated and bravely risked all!! No, no, don’t thank me, it’s nothing really, all in a day’s work, you know… : )
Another wonderful composition, and I plan to contemplate it as I eat my supper tonight. I think I’ll be having seafood… : )
I thought i saw you with an octopus on the head, but I never would have imagined it would be a painting’s side effect! In the future I shall try to control my paintbrushes [you know how mischievous they can get!]! 🙂
For you, I have created a special pedestal with protective glass, so you can be preserved as a rare [extinct] specimen of nobility, integrity, generosity and kindness [all inclusive] character.
from YOUR #1 fan, moi that is! 😉
Hauntingly beautiful. As always.
Thank you, my dear friend. Happy December!!! 🙂
So much emotion compressed within this piece!
I’ll agree on that one! It was an emotional piece…
Thank you, my dear Elena! 🙂
Very beautiful and dramatic dear Marina! ❤️
xxxxx
It really was a ‘heavy weather’ in many ways. Thank you, my dear Violet!! 🙂 xxxxxx
Good colours and good expressions Marina.
Ah, thank you so much, my dear Bente!!! 🙂
Always like your colors🐸
…and I love that frog!!! Thank you, Stephen! 🙂
I knew you’d like it:)
😆
Well done, nice paintings Marina. You know, you could have alot of inspiration here in Britain..we see more grey skies and heavy rain than actual sunshine. We do have some beautiful sunsets though 🙂
Vijay
I know, I lived there 4 years and I remember vividly those grey skies, as I remember those Turner-ish sunsets too! 😉 Thank you very much, Vijay! 🙂
such powerful and amazing presentation – this is a elite Art!
Thank you very much, Mihran! I am flattered! 🙂
I love this set of paintings, dear Marina. Toast to you.
Best wishes!, Aquileana 😀
Cheers to you too, Aquileana!! Thank you so much, my dear! 🙂
hi Marina, maybe you could introduce your watercolor paintings also successfully on flickr.com – they do not only present photos – compare my watercolors project there:
Γεια σου Μαρίνα, ίσως θα μπορούσε να εισαγάγει υδατογραφίες σας, επίσης, με επιτυχία στο flickr.com – κάνουν παρόντες όχι μόνο φωτογραφίες – συγκρίνετε υδατογραφίες του έργου μου εκεί:
As you already know, I love your watercolor project! It would be nice, hopefully one day when I find some time to do it… Thank you, Frizz!!!! 🙂
Moody, gnarly and beautiful! Have a great week, Marina!
Oh, thank you Richard. A great week [what’s left of it!] and weekend to you too! 🙂
A marvelous work of art Mariana, one that stirs the grey emotions of winter, now upon us. The beauty of this tormenting imagery is most assuredly in keeping with your consistent exceptional creations.
Coincidentally, I have just today completed a new piece on the subject of limbo, which I am about to post on my Poetry on a Canapé site. It will also appear in my new, and eleventh book of poems, soon to be published.
I found this new and beautiful painting of yours, made me feel the cold of winter in my bones, and expressed for me at least, so well the emotions that prompted the like cold winter phycological feelings experienced by the person that inspired my poem. Consequently I would like to first to share it with you first…
“ The Dark of Limbo ”
~ begs a morrow ~
I reach for her
Tho well I know
‘Tis but a shadow
I shall find,
I call her name
And hear awash
Its echoed sound
Implying limbo’s tide
Has carried it beyond…
In shades abutting dark
I barely see her face,
As I endure await
An end to limbo’s fate,
Thus beg that morrow
Finds her an escape,
Where she may reach
The end of sorrow,
Beyond the dark of limbo!

My dear Jean-Jacques, It’s an honor to be first to read this exceptional poem. It has in turn stirred so many emotions with its beauty. Thank you, my friend. 🙂

Love the beautiful moody hues Marina! Another brilliant effort 🙂
Ah, thank you so much, Madhu! 🙂 🙂
Oh this is fantastic Marina – I miss your creative paintings. These close-ups are like little treasures, being able to see the textures and layers, and the best blends of color. This is wonderful ~ have a great evening.
Thank you so much, Mary. So happy you enjoyed it. You too have a wonderful day and evening …and Thursday dawning! 🙂
This is the color of winter… when the sap returns into the heart of the trees… and the earth is hard…
A metamorphosis for the man who withdraws in himself, meditating, looking for a reason to everything… taking a pause from the habit of time passing!
Hugs and kisses :-)c
A metamorphosis indeed – how beautifully said! Wishing you a most relaxing and rejuvenating pause, my dear Claudine! much love and xxxxxxx 🙂
Heavy weather indeed. But there is hope that it will brighten soon. Optimism 🙂
Yes, my dear Susan, there is hope and sunshine ahead. 🙂
I love the texture of this painting
love how you can see the acrylics, ink and watercolor
very good Marina!
They really don’t mix! It’s fun isn’t it?!!! Thank you, my dear Doris! Have a great Tuesday. 🙂
I like this dark moody work very much but I wish you sunshine as well dear Marina.
Thank you, my dear Gilly, I know sunshine’s round the corner! Happy Tuesday! 🙂
I hope the title doesn’t describe how you are feeling but is just about the weather
Oh, it does, however look at my motto: ‘Art Towards A Happy Day’… it’s all clearing! Thank you! 🙂
You are welcome and be of good cheer
I love this piece, Marina!

Thank you, my dear Sylvia. I’m so happy to hear that!
You too have a beautiful week! 🙂 xxx
Oh I like this one. Blurs the boundaries between land and sea. Especially that last large close-up; smoke? plants? froth? Is that the Whomping Willow?! 🙂
😀 ! Ah ha ha, it does look a tad ominous, doesn’t it?! Well, it’s growing in the middle of nowhere, its roots trying to cling to the water and all this with heavy weather advancing… can you blame it?!!! Thank you, my dear Russ! 🙂
you so beautifully capture the seasons of the soul as expressed in the natural world.. praying you glimpse some blue skies..
I can already see a crack of light, my dear Colleen! Thank you so much! Exceptional work: http://colleenbriggs.com/2014/11/24/sifted-into-gold/

Sue xxx
Ah, Sue, my dear, the clouds are clearing and I feel blessed for having friends like you.
‘May the Sun shine only Rainbows’ for you too, my kind friend. A big big hug and xxxxxx 🙂
Another beautiful creation from you dear Marina. The combination of colours and their shades bring out the effects of a very cold winter so well.
The Indian winter has still not set in.
With kind regards and plenty of cheer 🙂

I think you captured it perfectly, Marina. Living with heavy weather here in Niagara Falls, I see this weather mood often. Lovely.
Ah, thank you, Donna. Who knows, maybe my mind was hovering around there and captured it! Have a beautiful …sunny day! 🙂
Unquestionably delivers the gloom of heavy weather … which also means Well Done!
…soon to be lifted by the life-giving sun, I hope!
