I’m sitting here wearing my exquisite red velvet Santa hat, my green sweater with all the little candy canes on it, and my faux reindeer hoof bootie slippers (note: no reindeer were harmed during the production of the 100% synthetic fake fur). I have Elvis Presley’s Christms record on my old phonograph, and the grainy crackling fireplace video playing on my TV.
I’m sitting here with an eggnog in each hand, looking at “Joy Overflowing” on my computer, and it’s so beautiful my face is experiencing “Tears Overflowing.” I’m transported with happiness by your lovely work, my dear Marina, and my Christmas is complete. And I’m sure glad I got here on time, because as you know, the Christmas Season only lasts till January 31st… : )
