  1. I’m checking the calendar. Now I’m using a pen to make some calculations on my shirt cuff. Ah!!!– as I suspected!!– your 2-week absence coincided with the same 2-week period during which the sun was blotted out from the sky, the flowers ceased to pour forth their fragrance, the little birdies stopped their joyous song, the champagne lost its bubbles, and the corn flakes in my cereal bowl were soggy and tasteless (and that was before I added any milk).

Coincidence?? I think not. For you, dear Marina, make the world turn on its axis, and the stars dance joyfully across the sky. Hmm. Come to think of it, that’s a rather stressful job– no wonder you needed a vacation!! : )

Wonderful to have you back and spreading your unique enchantment with your watercolor brush. Your latest work gets right to the roots of the matter, and is a magnificent contribution to both Art and, um, Horticulture… : )

    • Mark, my friend, I don’t know about the stars across the sky, I can tell you however that I am dancing joyfully and wonder if I’ll ever stop, err ….no, I think not! 😉
Wonderful to be back, she says as she continues dancing her way to the sky until she disappears into space…
A new month is dawning here, so Happy July, Mark! 🙂

  2. sorry I’m frenche so I don’t speak english very well, but I would say that it’s really awesome.. the history of the Life summarized here. I worship it .-.

  3. The beauty of lone tree, stretching its limbs as if reaching out to the turquoise green and light sapphire blue gems in the horizon, and roots, like arteries, plumbing the nourishing orange brown depths of Mother Earth, is the magic created by your vibrant colours, marina.. I look forward to more such delights…best wishes…Raj.

    • Ah, what a wonderful description, Raj! Thank you so much for your visit and especially your poetic words! Enjoy a beautiful weekend. My warmest wishes to you. 🙂

  4. It’s difficult to blog and create all of the time. So, I’m glad that you took some time, but glad you are back as well:) And, back with a refreshing, growing (as I type), vital new piece.

  5. … Et semen plantae humanitas generat.

  6. Once every century, the beauty finds the way of gentleness and returns to earth. At that time, no one can talk, but just listen. Here’s what happened on the day of your birth.
The next will be, only, in a hundred years.
    Good evening, my fair lady.

    Ninni

    • Awwww, my dear Ninni, I am sure that this is something that happened at your birth! You share such gentleness and kindness, it is unreal!!!
A very beautiful evening to you, my dear friend. 🙂

  7. Welcome Back Marina, and what a delightful painting to make your return entrance with again..
Wishing you well my dear friend. and I hope your have a fantastic week..
    Love and Hugs.. Sue ❤

  8. Where the earth and the sky kissing in the silence of a poem? Here everything seems to heart that knows how to see.
Even the world rejoices singing the sky.
    The tree pressed its roots over the soul;
silence is the companion of Heaven.
You have created, dear Marina, the entrance between the man and the desire.
    Between a brush and soul.
Between your smile and your art.
Daughter of Nature and the Heat.

If you can, you are always more good.
    Greetings from Italy

    Ninni

    • Dear dear Ninni,
between your words and my soul there is a smile and gratitude for every single word and goodness of heart.
A thank you as big as a thank you can be and filled with smiles.
Greetings, my dear Ninni and wishes for a beautiful week.

  9. Welcome back Marina. You have been missed. Beautiful little painting with great warmth and colour; very special. Warmest wishes for a creative June 🙂

  10. These are gorgeous with a calming ability, Marina. Just lovely as all your work is. Happy to see you back and wishing you a wonderful weekend! ♥

    • Hi, my dear Lauren! Happy to see you [and your sweet heart thief, Copper!]! 🙂
What a beautiful compliment! Thank you so much!
Enjoy a wonderful week! 🙂 xx

  11. I always await your monthly creations, I visited a couple of days ago, and did not see anything new, so I thought of what might be coming from your heart, your hands and your creative spirit, my sister so I wrote this for you as a blessing for the new month;

    Treasures

    The magic of your creations
Will always bring a smile to stay
    The feelings that come alive
Seek so heartily to now stay

    They massage the thoughts within
Making a happiness to bloom inside
And as one embraces what you share
Sweet feelings from hearts do rise

For the beauty that lives within each
Becomes a blessing we long to keep
Loving each creation we have received
As a treasured jewel we will hold deep

And their value become so priceless
Like a Van Gogh or Picasso treat
As we realize we are very blessed by
Gems so rare and amazingly complete.

Have a beautiful and amazing June, Marina, my dear sister!

    • What a way to be greeted, my kind friend! What a way…
      Speaking of treasures:
a great treasure is your spirit illuminating these pages with your talent, kindness, and generous heart.
      Thank you dearly!
An amazing June to you, my dear Wendell! 🙂

  12. Two weeks? Long enough I hope ! Welcome back Love your colours on this one. RH (ps I’m using your purple & magenta + crescent moon as my ‘background’ – it shows up all the junk on my desktop very well)

  13. Happy to see you again my friend, welcome back! And what a grand entrance – do love your latest. Great use of color, subtle depth and lots of beautiful layers. Welcome back Marina!!

  14. Hello Marina ,delightful creation the colors are so serene it looks like the sky embracing the earth at the horizon. My warm regards.Jalal

  15. Hooray … back and smiling! Love the similarities and difference between above and below. The separation between them adds a lot. Good to have you back! 😀

    • Hooray, to seeing you, my friend! Glad to be back [even if a little slower than before].
So happy you you like it, Frank.
Have a wonderful Monday and new week! 🙂
