On second thought.. maiden voyage was a seminal LP for me… I’m a sucker for nautical metaphors 🙂
Well…. and no need to be a “sucker for nautical metaphors”! 😉
But I am. Sometimes I wonder about past lives even tho as a Christian I am supposed to officially banish the idea! 😀
Ah… just accept it. 😀 Pointless to search for the origins! 😉
My mind works that way but you’re right. 🙂😇
🙂 🙂
Love Chick! 🙂
Yeeeees!!!! 🙂
He’s so much better than Herbie Hancock, imo. Okay I won’t blather for hours today… must houseclean…
agree!….. yep…it’s the housecleaning day [or I should say: weekend] 😉
Btw, I use ear protection while vacuuming… Something u and your husband might consider, if you haven’t already. Musicians and music lovers need good hearing! 🙂
Socratis uses ear protection quite often, I don’t, I’ve got ‘natural’ sound censor which ‘automatically’ cuts out annoying sounds and since doctor says I’ve got 10+/10 hearing, I suppose that censor also protects my ears physically [and not just mentally!] 😉 😉
I often wish God gave me something like an eyelid for the ear. 😒☺
P.s. glad S. Is being smart. 👍
😉
😂🤣😂🤣, yes… so would S! 🙂
Maybe in the future we’ll have ‘volume controls’ for the ears! Seems you’ve got something but the rest of us are often caught off guard… Ambulance on busy street while you’ve got your hands full, etc. 😒☺
I wonder, since there are earpieces for the hearing impaired couldn’t the same technology be used to lower the sound instead of amplifying it? May be a silly thought but ..
No not at all. I was thinking along the same lines… that mankind-machine synthesis that I think we are probably headed for. Speaking of which, I got Reaper all hooked up the other night and felt that your influence was coming through in a good way. I’ve begun a new tune! Yay! 🔈🔉🔊🎹🎵
Ah, now, that IS great news!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
You were right. Your husband’s site rocks. You are a wise woman.💎 I only wish I could read more of his political commentary. Google Trans has a character # limit. Oh, well. I think I get the gist of it all. Enjoy your Sunday. 🙂
Oh, I’m so glad you do! You too enjoy your Sunday. Ours is …dying out! 😉
Ahhh … sweet pastel pink lurking and finding her way to being seen,
Isadora 😎
‘She’ is very happy you for being discovered! 😉 😘😘😘😘
Love the title and the woods I pink.
Your paintings always take me to a whole other universe.
My heart is happy to see your beautiful work. 🙂
Ah, Charlie, what a lovely thing to say! My heart is happy to read your words! Thank you, my friend! 🙂
Happiness is well. And may your smile carry to brightest of stars. 🙂
Awwwwwwwwww…….. what a beautiful thing to say, Charlie!!!!! Speaking of stars… look up tonight!!! 😉
Ahh one of my favourite pictures on my wall!
Gilly, my sweet friend, I’m sure that picture is even happier! 😉 xxxxx
Happy Tuesday, 7th! That painting makes a fab clock! I’ll be late, probably, so Happy Wednesday, 8th! xoxoxoxo
🙂 🙂 Thank you sweetie! 8th dawning, so happy Wednesday to you too [and Tuesday evening!] 😘🤗🤗🤗😘😘🤗
As always – beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Marina! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Ah, so nice seeing you here and thank you, my dearest Penny! Sending love and xxxxx
Really lovely design and colours, Marina. I always adore listening to Chick Corea. xx
Double happy! Thank you, my dear Sylvia! 😘😘😘🤗
I love the pink, Marina! ~xo
I know! I remember!!! 😘🤗😘🤗
I should so very much like to disappear into your glorious forest. Even imagining it brings joy and peace. The music piece, sadly, says it is not accessible in my country; but I’m glad the painting is!
Ah, my dear Colleen, what a lovely thing to say and knowing of the wonders your hands create this is even more appreciated! On the Chick Corea piece, you’re in luck [well, I hope this one is available] as this is actually the one I intended to post in the first place:
Ah yes, access granted! And a beautiful passionate way to start my day… Thank you Marina!
😘😘😘
A beautiful palate indeed. In the music, I can hear influence on your compositions.
😉 Thank you, my friend! Hope you’re having a lovely Tuesday! 🙂
