D.S.T. or The Lost Hour

Technique: graphic design, digital artwork

D.S.T. or: The Lost Hour, is an homage to the hour gone missing during the months of summer for some countries. Concept and design by Marina Kanavaki.

With this clock/post the series ends. Here’s to the hour’s return in October!  😉

and for the lost hour, this Sunday:

  1. GMT to DST – and just returned from EST. In a jet-lagged haze. Blurry round the edges. Nothing like a bit of Orbital to sort that out… Really enjoyed the series, Marina. RH

    • Pure paranoia! I suppose we’ll eventually get used to it …just before it changes back to …normal time! 😉 I’m glad Orbital sorted out the edges and very happy you enjoyed the series, my friend. 🙂

  2. OMG! I’m lost in time space! I think this means you are on DST, now. We have been DST for 2 weeks. I’m quite messed up, as most of my blog followers are in Europe.
I love all you do, and have a beautiful post coming up with bees and time. The clock in my bees post is set at 11:00.

    • Yes, the dreaded D.S.T. is here to stay -until October. Trying to readjust! 😉 I believe that gradually all Europe goes DST. I can’t wait to see that post!!! 🤗😘😘🤗😘🤗😍😘🤗😘😍🤗😍😘🤗😘😍

  3. You have worked hard on this series and have earned a break! great series and great theme!

i just realized that the music did not play… oops.. going over to ‘pot luck’ music.. thanks for whatever waits!

    • I hope you managed to listen to it! It was quite challenging posting every day – hadn’t done that before. Well, a short break [a couple of days maybe] isn’t a bad idea! 😉 Have a lovely week, amiga! 🙂 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

  4. Love your images of cyclical time Marina, analogue but sci-fi at the same…time! When I taught high school I actually had students who could only read digital clocks!

    • I can imagine how you must have felt! We were ‘fortunate’ to have lived right on the transition… When I first started as a graphic designer, all the artwork was done by hand and only a few years later worked on my first MacPlus! Come to think of it though, my first watch was a digital casio! 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed this, my friend.
