Really lovely! A fantastic feeling for Autumn.
Thank you, my dear Richard! So glad you enjoyed my Autumn colors! 🙂
Unexpected choice of colour for October, but I LOVE that vivid shade. Happy October to you too Marina 🙂
Thank you, my dear Madhu! I know, but I always thought of October fiery, forests transitioning from green to orange, red, sepia… A very happy October to you too!! 🙂 xx
Opal X is a powerful expression of October Marina, from harvest and its full moon to All Hallows Eve, Samhain, El Dia De Los Muertos and Diwali. The colours reflect this season perfectly. Thank you for your wonderful art and for another Kari sharing of such warmth and clarity.
Thank you, my dear friend. It was the only month that I didn’t ‘follow’ the ‘month colors’. Fall has always been fiery to me. Here’s to a beautiful fiery month – from one fire person to another! 😉
Hi Marina… Hope you are having a great October so far… Oh… I love horoscopes. I often watch tarot readings videos on Youtube 😀 Hugs
Hi, my dear Aquileana! I’m glad you enjoyed those videos. What I like about both ladies is how positive and happy they are. They could be saying that the end of the world is coming but the way they say it makes you look forward to it! 😉 Many hugs and a beautiful October to you! 🙂 xxxx
There was a beautiful Harvest moon this week Marina, but I still don’t want it to be autumn yet!
I can understand that but on the other hand, I love the fiery transition! Thank you, my dearest Gilly. To you I wish a wonderful October color transition! [I did not say Fall! 😉 ] xxxxxx
Your Opal Ten has the essence of the full moon! I like the vivid colors 🙂 The moon threw me for a loop on the 5th, physically and mentally, but I’m taking care to recharge. Sending love for October and always ❤
Thank you, my dear Christy! Moon can do that but recharge is …elementary, so, ENJOY! Much love to you and a wonderful, recharged – refreshed October to you, my sweet friend! 🙂 xxxx
Amazing picture.
Thank you, my friend! 🙂
I shared this on my art blog: https://sherrykey.wordpress.com/2017/10/06/art-featured-artist-marina-kanavaki-happy-october/
Thank you so much, my dear Sherry! Your kindness and support mean a lot! Have a lovely Sunday! 🙂 xx
So enjoyed your October creation, such beautiful choices of colours.. And thank you for Kari’s interpretation for Oct.. I needed to hear that.. What is best for ME.. lol… I am doing that more dear Marina.. and have something I have wanted to do for several months now, and need to stop self sabotaging myself and do it.. So THANK YOU.. dear Marina.. needed to hear this today..
Love Sue xxxxxx ❤
Ah, that’s so good to hear, Sue! I know all about self sabotaging! 😉 Here’s to moving forward, my dearest friend. Happy Sunday. Love and many hugs to you! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
🙂 ❤ xxxxxx ❤
BTW – Just heard that The Moody Blues just received their FIRST nomination ever for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. At least they made the ballot! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5tb25TqXYU
Well, I call that progress! 😉
Absolutely …. although way too late, but at least it was done … but getting elected is another matter. Nonetheless, there is no election without a nomination. 🙂
Considering the elected so far… I don’t know… but lets keep our hopes up! 😉
Happy October and a toast to the full moon. Your great use of orange is very fitting for the moon of final harvest. Yamas!
Ah, thank you, my dear friend! Yamas to this beautiful and majestic Harvest Moon! 🙂
Beautiful and the moon was phenom this morning. Big and bright and full!
Indeed! We saw it a few hours ago rising majestic. It was huge!!!!! 🙂
Howdy! It’s the month of Opal 10, and the month that closes with Hallow’een! I wonder what the moon will be this Hallow’een! Well, whatever, I sure have enjoyed my wall calendar with your art. I see the one for 2018 is available now. I strongly suggest anyone who did not buy one for 2017, get one for 2018!
When the year is over the glossy photos are suitable for framing! Thank you, Marina!

Woo hoooooooooooooo……. [and woof!!!!]
So pleased you enjoyed your calendar, my sweet friend. Yes, the 2018 one is ready but I am actually preparing another one with new illustrations… shhhhhh…. I just hope they’ll be ready on time [maybe even before Halloween]
Sending you a huge huge hug [like the amazing grand Full Moon I saw earlier on!] and lots of love! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
October ???!!!
Only 80 days until Christmas 😉
Nooooooooooooooooo – you’ve uttered the word Chr…..
but then, one could go round the world in 80 days! 😉
Happy October, my friend! 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂
Marina you art work is full of zest – love these vibrant colours which make Autumn seem far less sad than it can be
What a compliment! Thank you, my dear Laura. Fall can be melancholic but its vibrant fiery colors are so warm and beautiful, as if it’s offering an overload of warmth and color to last us for the cold white to follow.
I just realized that somehow you’ve been unfollowed [just like many of my friends!] Corrected that and I hope now I’ll be able to see you at my WP Reader! Have a lovely October. 🙂
(that slippage from Reader has happened with some of my follows too) – thanks for bringing such a beauteous glow to october
[On slippage… it is annoying nevertheless as you unwillingly lose contact with friends! ;-)] Thank YOU, Laura! Have a beautiful Sunday! 🙂
Super welcome to the fall.
🙂 Beautiful season, Fall! Thank you, my dear John.
I live on the Gulf of Mexico and our seasons don’t change much. I envy those who have a brilliant fall. 🙂
Ah, but you have wonderful beaches! I hope all is well with Nate’s passing. Happy Sunday, my friend. 🙂
Thank you, Marina. 😀
Marina, this is so cool! I love your art and all the valuable info you share with us. May your Autumn be full of blessings! ~xx
My dearest Patricia, I’m so happy to hear that! And may your Autumn be full of light, joy and creativity, like the one you abundantly share! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
That opal looks like a pumpkin. So I’m going to run out to my pumpkin patch and collect all my pumpkins and carve them into happy faces! Then I’m going to jump in my rocket ship and collect all the brightest stars from the heavens! I shall put the stars in the pumpkins, and then set them all around Mt. Olympus as a glowing tribute to the painter who created Opal Ten. Then I shall toast her with a glass of ambrosia or ten, and think how sweet life is. Yup, that’s what I’m gonna do!! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨😊
And I raise my pumpkin to you – all 10 [🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃] and ambrosias [🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨] and hail THE brightest star: YOU! Because of you, I have a huge stock of smiles to last me for 10 years, no, centuries!!!!!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10!
