    • Thank you, my dear Madhu! I know, but I always thought of October fiery, forests transitioning from green to orange, red, sepia… A very happy October to you too!! 🙂 xx

  1. Opal X is a powerful expression of October Marina, from harvest and its full moon to All Hallows Eve, Samhain, El Dia De Los Muertos and Diwali. The colours reflect this season perfectly. Thank you for your wonderful art and for another Kari sharing of such warmth and clarity.

    • Thank you, my dear friend. It was the only month that I didn’t ‘follow’ the ‘month colors’. Fall has always been fiery to me. Here’s to a beautiful fiery month – from one fire person to another! 😉

    • Hi, my dear Aquileana! I’m glad you enjoyed those videos. What I like about both ladies is how positive and happy they are. They could be saying that the end of the world is coming but the way they say it makes you look forward to it! 😉 Many hugs and a beautiful October to you! 🙂 xxxx

    • I can understand that but on the other hand, I love the fiery transition! Thank you, my dearest Gilly. To you I wish a wonderful October color transition! [I did not say Fall! 😉 ] xxxxxx

  2. Your Opal Ten has the essence of the full moon! I like the vivid colors 🙂 The moon threw me for a loop on the 5th, physically and mentally, but I’m taking care to recharge. Sending love for October and always ❤

    • Thank you, my dear Christy! Moon can do that but recharge is …elementary, so, ENJOY! Much love to you and a wonderful, recharged – refreshed October to you, my sweet friend! 🙂 xxxx

  3. So enjoyed your October creation, such beautiful choices of colours.. And thank you for Kari’s interpretation for Oct.. I needed to hear that.. What is best for ME.. lol… I am doing that more dear Marina.. and have something I have wanted to do for several months now, and need to stop self sabotaging myself and do it.. So THANK YOU.. dear Marina.. needed to hear this today..
    Love Sue xxxxxx ❤

  4. Howdy! It’s the month of Opal 10, and the month that closes with Hallow’een! I wonder what the moon will be this Hallow’een! Well, whatever, I sure have enjoyed my wall calendar with your art. I see the one for 2018 is available now. I strongly suggest anyone who did not buy one for 2017, get one for 2018!
When the year is over the glossy photos are suitable for framing! Thank you, Marina!
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx woof xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    • Woo hoooooooooooooo……. [and woof!!!!]
So pleased you enjoyed your calendar, my sweet friend. Yes, the 2018 one is ready but I am actually preparing another one with new illustrations… shhhhhh…. I just hope they’ll be ready on time [maybe even before Halloween]
Sending you a huge huge hug [like the amazing grand Full Moon I saw earlier on!] and lots of love! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  5. Marina you art work is full of zest – love these vibrant colours which make Autumn seem far less sad than it can be

    • What a compliment! Thank you, my dear Laura. Fall can be melancholic but its vibrant fiery colors are so warm and beautiful, as if it’s offering an overload of warmth and color to last us for the cold white to follow.
I just realized that somehow you’ve been unfollowed [just like many of my friends!] Corrected that and I hope now I’ll be able to see you at my WP Reader! Have a lovely October. 🙂

      • (that slippage from Reader has happened with some of my follows too) – thanks for bringing such a beauteous glow to october

  6. Marina, this is so cool! I love your art and all the valuable info you share with us. May your Autumn be full of blessings! ~xx

  7. That opal looks like a pumpkin. So I’m going to run out to my pumpkin patch and collect all my pumpkins and carve them into happy faces! Then I’m going to jump in my rocket ship and collect all the brightest stars from the heavens! I shall put the stars in the pumpkins, and then set them all around Mt. Olympus as a glowing tribute to the painter who created Opal Ten. Then I shall toast her with a glass of ambrosia or ten, and think how sweet life is. Yup, that’s what I’m gonna do!! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨😊

    • And I raise my pumpkin to you – all 10 [🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃] and ambrosias [🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨] and hail THE brightest star: YOU! Because of you, I have a huge stock of smiles to last me for 10 years, no, centuries!!!!!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10!
