marinsta [September]

Moon Phase: Waning crescent   Last Quarter Visible: 50%↓ Age: 22 days
Months are vanishing into thin air!
Time for my September Marinsta aka September Instagram retrospective.

I picked this photo as it depicts my dearest things!
A transition of seasons. The quiet sea, rocks and a leaf from the near by fig tree.
Summer blending with Autumn. Most definitely my favorite time of the year.
Ah, …daydreaming.

Note: the photos on the tiled gallery are showing in random order, so every time the page refreshes, you see a different order.

  1. Marina … you’ve posted all of the wonders I adore. Each one holds a deep place in my heart. Peaceful waters babbling as they travel downstream to find the mysteries that are somewhere further from where the first existed.
I know I’ve delayed in visiting. So many, changes in my daily life. I hope to be better at coming to see your marvelous works. Your creativity abounds more and more with each day. For sure, if I lived near you we would be creating masterpieces of inner peace, healing and love. Always thinking of you as I blog my own stories because I need to remind myself that a short distance away is another spirit posting mesmerizing and mysterious creations. Be well …. have a lovely weekend.
    Isadora 😎

    • Ah, my dearest Isadora, we are indeed ‘a short distance away’ and I always think of you as a shining light. I hope you are well. Speaking of inner peace, here’s something I know you would appreciate. It resonates deeply within me and while I was listening to it a while ago, I thought of you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1ZwaEzMtJw Enjoy a beautiful Monday and week ahead. Sending love and many hugs xxxxxxxxx

      • Peaceful Greetings to You, dear Marina,
It has been a while since I’ve been on my computer. My chakra colors had dimmed. I needed to breathe renewed energy to them. I find it best for me to be on the ocean. There is no media distractions. 🌊
To see your comment was extremely joyful; a blessing to see. Thank you for your kind and complimentary words. Each day, I rise with the thoughts of spreading my energy creating a bright light for everyone to receive. My heart soars with the thought that you are indeed receiving some of it. I loved the video and have added it to my list of music. You are a beacon sending rays my way. Thank you …
        Namaste 🙏🏻

  2. Ufff I have GOT to visit here and bring my daughter! I”m sorry that we’ve been thwarted all this year – but the plan is still on! We WILL come soon I promise 🙂 ❤

  3. Ah, my favorite time of year as well… summer blending with autumn… Beautiful photos, the first one with the single fig leaf imagining itself to be a mighty sailing ship was definitely my favorite. I guess I’m a lot like Hera, since I seem to get “more and more beautiful and photogenic with each passing month…” 😊⏳⏳⏳⏳⌛️⌛️⌛️⌛️👽

    • It really looks like it was imagining itself to be a mighty ship, doesn’t it?!!! Beautifully said but in reality that leaf was on its way to pick a heavy load of ambrosia to bring it to you. No ordinary leaf!!!!! 🍁🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨 🙂 🙂 🙂 🍨

  4. My next favorite item is the video of the seabed with the algae and seaweed bobbing with the ripples of ebb and flow of the sea. A very meditative video loop.

    • My favorite meditation this summer… Endless hours of observing mesmerized the sea. Brought back innumerable videos of those loops to get me through winter! 😉 So happy you enjoyed it. 🙂

  5. So many wonderful images – My favorite from this series is the Antenna set to the moon. This is such a wonderful art shot with the moon seeming to levitate above the antenna while dozens of little moons (bokeh) dream of being born and taking flight. Maybe the antenna is just a launchpad for the moon – every month it slowly floats down to earth and needs to be re-launched…. obviously your photo inspires imagination. Great work 🙂

    • Ah, Terry, so glad you noticed this photo! It was such a fortunate coincidence of thought and image… As I was getting ready to go out and photograph the moon, I was thinking “right, got my antenna all set up for the moon”, I found the spot and I started clicking away in the dark when I realized that I am photographing the antenna! 😉 Weird! What you see is my first shot. Once I’d realized it I continued taking more and more but none was as good as that first one! I love your launchpad interpretation. And yes, those little balls of light are definitely destined to be moons! 🙂

  6. A lovely array of photos, Marina! I like the word “Marinsta” ~ You’re so creative 🙂 I am sharing this one on Twitter with a big smile as your photos (and art) make me happy!

    • Awwww, Christy thank you so much for your kindness and support! That and your smile make me happy! Have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead.
Meantime, I’ll have to contact WP Happiness Engineers again about not being able to follow quite a few of my friends [you included!]. Last time they fixed the problem but it has come back. 😦

  7. All photos are gorgeous, Marina! I love the ocean, but sunrises and sunsets have always been favorites. And of course, your little girl is adorable! Many hugs for a great weekend! 💕

    • Thank you, my dear Lauren! Yes – and the most favorite one: sunrises – sunsets over the sea! All-in-one! 😉 Hmmm…maybe I could squeeze in my girl in that frame, now how would that shot be?!!! Hope you’re having a lovely Sunday! 🙂 xxxxxxxx

  8. WOW… Wonderful images Marina.. All are beautiful in their own right.. And Beauty is to be found in everything when we look for it..
Many thanks for sharing them.. And sending giant hugs for a lovely weekend.. xxx ❤ ❤

    • My dear Elisabeth, I’m so glad to see you here! For some reason I keep following you and when I refresh the page I see that the button still says “Follow”! I’ll keep trying… Thank you so much. That’s a great compliment coming from you! 🙂 xx

  9. Looks like you and Hera are having a fun time on Instagram! Is it my imagination, or is Hera becoming more and more beautiful and photogenic with each passing month?
Much love, and I’ll see you at my 1000 Gala! Atom Flowers look wonderful! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    • We are indeed having fun time! On her becoming more beautiful… you don’t know how happy that remark made me and how much it means to me! Coincidentally we had a visit from her trainer who hadn’t seen her for almost a year and the first thing she said was how beautiful and relaxed she is “She’s so happy and more beautiful!” By the way, I just read your comment to Hera and she sends big big kisses!
and we both can’t wait for the Gala!!!!!!!!!
Sending love – hugs and xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [oh, and tail wags!]

  10. Beautiful post dear Marina… Love your Instagram retropsective: gorgeous… I had an account but was hacked (and deleted) last month… It was awful.. Please make sure to secure your acc with the two steps validation if you haven´t done so… I hope to come back to Instagram anytime soon as I am growing another account I had (for my cats!)… We´ll see, Hugs ❤

    • Oh, no! that is awful indeed! I’ll check whether I have done so and if not, I will! Thank you telling me! I hope you come back soon! [I look forward!] …meantime, have a lovely Thursday and weekend ahead! hugs to you and xxxxx 🙂
