As a habit for the past many months, I like to capture the sunrises I see from my window. I usually post them on my Instagram[as seen on my marinsta posts!].
Today’s sunrise took me by surprise as the first thing I saw was this:
Looking at this dull and foggy dawn [much like yesterday’s] I thought I wouldn’t see the sun rising. Due to the African dust, everything was hazy. A few minutes later though, I looked out and here’s what I saw …and couldn’t stop clicking! 😉
Wishing everyone a beautiful and inspiring week ahead!
Living in a relatively tall building has its advantages! 😉 And from now till October, the sunrise is visible. During the other months sunrise is blocked by the building next to us …duh! If only they’d open they’re windows so I’d see through their apartment huh?! 😉
Fab shots, Marina! Pardon my ignorance, but was is African dust? Does Hera react to it?
Well, I’m thinking a lot about you these days, as I paint away on my next Art Gown. Any tips on the brushes? Mine turn into fluffiness rather quickly. Hera…..WOOF (that’s from me) Prrrrrrrrrrrr (that’s from Jeep and Johnny) xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Was such an unexpected sight this morning. Loved capturing it! Sometimes when we get South winds, dust from the Sahara desert comes along with it and we get this yellowish fog. It’s not very pleasant and not nice to breath either especially during summer.
I can picture you painting!!!! The only tip I can give you is just go for it. Even ‘fluffiness’ can give you great results! For economy purposes though, here’s a nice link about brush care: https://www.art-is-fun.com/how-to-clean-a-paintbrush#brush! Can’t wait to see what you’re doing!!! Hera sends love & woofs to you and Jeep & Johnny! Love & hugs xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
