Earth Nerve Net pt3

I’ve always found earth patterns fascinating.
Sometimes random, other times symmetrical, other abstract…

As I continue my journey on earth patterns this one is from my walks on rocky beaches.

Rocks coexisting with water. Rocks by the sea. Wet Rocks…
or with the abundance of wet rock images here, one could be tempted to say …wetrock me to death! In my defense, these were just a small portion of the shots I took!

I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

…accompanied by

Massive Attack: Two Rocks And A Cup Of Water*

from their album Danny The Dog OST [2004]

*Taking the words of the title almost literally made me smile… even if it’s got nothing to do with …wet rocks! 😉

  1. Loving this series, Marina! I think we really are a network of nerves, through the entire cosmic universe. You’ve started us at a logical place.Thank you!

OMG!!!! The art you sent is spectacular! I’m going to start working on the post tonight. I need to draw a bracelet on Wild Rose, then take pics in daylight.
It will be on Art Gowns, of course.
Will let you know via mail when it’s up.

    Was that music for Hera?????

    • Ah, Resa, thank you so much….
Every time I look closely at earth’s patterns I feel more present and ..at home.
I can’t wait for that post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think if Massive Attack met Hera they would have created a more …gutsy kind of music and tender at the same time! 😉 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

  2. Another winning series. I’m a sucker for shots of the shallows – the way the water distorts the view and adds mystery to our perception. Water – a symbol of liquid spirituality. these type of things always remind me of some scenes from Tarkovsky’s films. Pure art. Thanks so much for sharing this exciting and lovely series.

  3. Rock around the clock…:) Another beautiful series, amazing how our planet’s element can provide beautiful sights and patterns, either rocks, water, cloud and of course light, anytime of the day, like the music too….have a nice week end Marina!
