  1. Yes, very nice. Almost an androgyny thing happening here. Funny thing about (apparently overcoming) sexism is that women can now wear pants but, for the most part, men cannot wear dresses. Do you think most guys are just too uptight to go the distance? What’s going on with that? 🙂

    • This was Resa’s amazing creativity and I do hope you visit her page. She is an extraordinary artist! On clothing… well, there are cultures that use -or at least used to in the past- dresses/skirts as a male attire [Scottish – Greek Tsolias – Hindus – Arabs… to name a few and let us not forget artists like Bowie, who used it for publicity etc ] But maybe what you’re referring to is the impact the attire may have on the inside, which imho should be none, if used as something that genuinely fits a person… The ‘problem’ [if any] is when it is used to play a role… then things start getting complicated… 😉

      • Oh shoot. I just wrote a long reply and am not sure if it went thru. Same thing happened with your husband’s site. So to repeat… I guess I was thinking about the visible power brokers in today’s world. Check this photo. Lots of pants… not too many dresses!

As for clothing and numinosity, I tend to think there is some mysterious connection… not just for religious folk but for anyone.

Now celebs can do almost whatever they want and that’s why we like them. As trendsetters, they are usually a bit cutting edge.

But on the global and historical side, I certainly agree with you. The garb takes many shapes and colors… for men and women alike.

If by chance my first comment makes it thru, feel free to post it along with this one. It’s a bit more “fancy” in writing style. 🙂

Nice to hear from you… 💗💛💚💙💜

        • Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that! It’s s real bummer when this happens (happened to me too…) at least you weren’t spammed (I checked to make sure). Although I couldn’t view the image (unavailable) I agree with what you say. Meantime I hope December treats you well! 😀

          • Oh it was just a G8 pic… 7 guys and Merkel, all wearing pants. I recall in soc class how feminists argued that ‘equality’ meant being like men. But that was the 80s. Everything’s changed since then. All the best to you and yours! 🙂

  2. Thank you for the RB, Marina! There are so many lovely comments here. I love the idea of a closet full of Magic Art Gowns. There’s a post in there, somewhere! Possibly a book.
    Much Love to all!

  4. Whoa!!– that’s quite an elaborate toga you’re wearing!! I didn’t know you were also a fashion model– but I’m not surprised to hear it. Just don’t step on any furry tails as you sashay down the catwalk!! 🙀😹

    • A ha ha haaaa….. Resa is the only one I’d trust with this! She is so talented! I do hope you visit her page. She too has earned her place in the patheon at Mt Olympus!!!! 🙂 As for walking down the catwalk… I’m an expert at tripping, no furry tails needed! 😉
