Moved by Motion: Driving In The Rain

A series of short videos, or, movements that …moved me.

Yes, you read correct: RAIN
and yes, it rained in …my last MbM post too!
…and no, don’t do this!!!!!!
…don’t try to photograph the lights of a moving car in front of you while driving at the same time …in the rain!!!!!!

Yes, I did just that! I couldn’t resist. My eyes were dazzled by the melting lights and it was such fun 😜 …but, as I say DON’T try it!
FYI I did not cause any accident or delay in the traffic! 😉

💦

This time, it’s ‘Victoria’, the storm above us. It made its entrance with an abundance of lightning and thunder [Hera did not appreciate this bad temper one bit!],
but, trust me to find something good in any situation! 😉
I mean, take a look at those melting lights…
💦
So, here is

Driving In The Rain

with the lovely sound of raindrops hitting metal

[sounds more like plastic, but take my word for it, it’s metal!]

💦
…and the sound of the flashlight ..for a left turn!
💦
My photo crop while taking the rest of my journey home …safely!
Can you blame me?
💦

Enjoy a beautiful Thursday

and remember:

Don’t drive and take pictures …or videos!!!!!

💦

This series of posts is linked to Earth Nerve Net“.

Sometimes the eye captures an image, sometimes a movement and others a movement with sound. Most of these “Moved by Motion” posts are with sound on, essential for a fuller experience, hence, no [other] music to accompany them. I hope you enjoy.

  1. Terrific shots! A few years back I got a helmet and drilled a hole in it to mount my DVD camera so I could film while riding the bicycle. A Mickey Mouse contraption, pre cell phone. I just discovered your new format and all this new material. Great!!!

        • Oh-oh…. that’s what I meant!!!! Most of mine where taken on a red light however on a video recording, the light turned green (which was mesmerizing through the rain drops) so I kept recording while driving and my phone fell off my hands! The recording from that point onwards gets black with …creative swearing in the background! 🤣🤣😉🤣😉🤣

  2. Rich and deep textures! We now have very strict distracted driving laws in Ontario so if we tried that here we’d be slapped with a heavy fine and license suspension! Some, I heard, have even been charged for drinking coffee at a red light!

  3. SO, driving and photoing in the rain! AHA!
I was listening to Atomic Rooster on Oannes blog, while reading this. The rain actually sounded great with the music, as it is quite minimalistic.
I went back, to listen better and couldn’t take my eyes off the video. The lead singer eating a sandwich during the performance is a hoot! I’m following the blog. The email for my GLAM blog came up, so I went with it. It says I am Resa Swork. It was supposed to be Resa’s Work. Google decided I was Resa Swork. I couldn’t use Resa Swork for my work, so I used it for my GLAM blog.

    OKAY!

OH! also, you said you had tried 3 times to comment on my blog before it worked. The first 2 were in the SPAM folder. I freed them. I’m over on Art Gowns right now, so will delete them when I get back there.

    • Yes, I know, I got the hubby warning about driving and photographing! 😬
That sandwich gets me every time! How he can perform like that and casually enjoy his sandwich is beyond me!!!!!!! I love that song and obviously that voice!
Resa Swork?!!!!!!! Honestly…. I’ll go visit!!!!! Swork……… 🤣🙄😒🤪🤭🥴🙃😂 google ey?!!!!!!!!!
      Sending Sunday kisses and love!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤🌺❤🥰😍😘😍🥰❤🌺❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    • Ah, yes!!!!! It would actually be very funny having a camera recording me at the time! There were instances when my camera would slip off my hands and others when the preceding car would drive off as soon as I’d focused on the light… which I can assure you, the raindrops were not the only thing you’d hear 🤬🤬🤬🤬!!!!!!! 😉 Yamas, my friend! 🙂
