This is for a longtime friend here at WP who’s decided to give his blog a hiatus… [we hope 😉 ] but he knows better!

This is lovely Marina. I think I originally met you through Frank! He has delivered a consistently refreshing blog and really tied his readers together into a community. I’m going to miss him. Thank you for this lovely musical tribute.
I’ll miss him too and you’re so right!!! Was just a little reminder. I know thst none of his friends would want to miss his closing ceremonies!

That is pretty funny. Oh well, Vangelis didn’t work out with Yes, but Patrick Moraz did a great job… It was the album “Heaven and Hell” that I was thinking about where Jon first worked with Vangelis -a great album….
I remember that and yes, brilliant album! On the video, funny parts with bow and arrow and then when he first met the rest of the band [YES] …his remark on guitar to Steve! 😉 😂
The bow and arrow is pretty hilarious, and, yeah, not a good way to make friends…
