Raindrops falling on the leaves
Hoping they’ll clear some of the dust that visited us a couple of days ago.
And here’s an abstract on the same subject! 😉
Remember this?

I’m late to the rain party!
These images are beautiul. Love the abstract version, too!
Actually, you’re not at all late! It’s been raining [pouring actually] here, so… 😉
Thank you, Dale! ….wait, sun just got out! 😉
xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Hah! But Ugh. We had a few days in a row. And the sun finally really came out yesterday and it was 10°C – some crazies were running in shorts…
Enjoy your sun! xoxoxo
….gone now! It’s raining again!
Oh well! Was nice for as little as it lasted! 😉
xoxoxoxo
D’oh!!
This summer when it is a bazillion degrees, you’ll be hoping for some…😉 xoxoxo
I may, however this is the now and that is future!!!! 😉 😂🤣😂🤣
This is true! My bad.

Marina,
It took me a while to answer you because it is difficult to describe. Please pardon me if I’m wrong. 🙂
There is something that happens in each of our brains that is idiosyncratic to that person. So, when I look at that abstract, it’s like you found the literal algorithm that most expresses what you do naturally when you watercolor. I think it’s akin to what the impressionists do. They squint at something in real life they are interested in, reducing it to it’s blurry watery essence which they capture on canvas. You do all that in your head without having to think about how you do it.
I think you’ve put in words something that happens automatically. I have never actually thought of it but you are right and this is a great point you’re making. Thank you for this! Happy April btw… goodness where did March go?!
This is gorgeous! You do such beautiful nature posts!
Speaking of nature and leaves and trees, Timothy is sending me some pics of trees later today. I’ll get them off to you, asap!

The abstract is a valiant heart in the middle of confusion from the virus. ❤ xo ❤ xo ❤ xo ❤ xo ❤ xo ❤ xo
That is such a beautiful thing to say… thank you so much, my sweet sweet friend!!!!!
I’ll be checking my mail!
meantime… our time has changed… grrrrrrrrrr
How time flies!
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I’ve just downloaded the tree pics onto my desktop. My back is going crazy, so I’m gonna hop in the shower to loosen it up. Then I’ll sent the trees!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Our time changed a few weeks ago. I’m used to it now….. sort of!
Got them!!!!!! I’ve already picked my tree!!!! Thank you!!!
Hope your back is better!

H sends healing kisses!

I love the rain; it’s a symbol of washing away one’s troubles.
Thanks for this, Marina.
Oh, it is…. if only it would wash away that damn corona too! 😉
Thank YOU, my friend! 🙂
Oh Marina’ this is so beautiful! Thank you dear one! ❤️🌹♥️
Big big kiss to you!!!!!!!! 😘😘😘
This is so beautiful! 🥰
❤️🌹❤️
And you think you’re not a real photographer. Ha! I do remember working a construction job when the song was current. A redneck carpenter with his mouth full of nails was pounding away while singing “raindrops keep falling on my f—in’ head.“
A ha ha ha haaaaaaaa, I can just picture that!!!!! 😉 Well… I still believe that, but I do thank you for your kindness! 🙂
Keep shooting. You’ll come around. I know an artist when I see one. It’s perfectly acceptable, indeed most wonderful, to be an artist in several different means of expression.
Awww….. now I’m blushing! Will do, my friend…. 🙂 🙂
No need to blush. Simple acceptance will do.
🙏 …with gratitude!
Can you remind me where to look on your blog/website for your horizon-like paintings?
Try: Maraqua on the menu – As Above So Below – In Limbo – Trees and Forests [https://marinakanavaki.com/?s=as+above+so+below – https://marinakanavaki.com/?s=In+Limbo – https://marinakanavaki.com/?s=The+Woods%5D I said that before but I really should try to change the structure of my menu but with so many posts, I have no idea how long this will take me!!!!
Thank you very much. You have a lot of content. I don’t think it will be an easy task.
Great song, Marina. Takes me back to AM car radio… btw, I thought I’d mention this for S. He probably already knows about it but what the heck… I know he uses OB-Xd. https://www.kvraudio.com/news/julian-pollack-j3po-releases-free-ob-xd-synth-bank-48050 I tested them out with an alt email address (to avoid spam) and they’re okay… 🙂
Does doesn’t it?! As for the OB-Xd…. nope we don’t but sounds great to install. For now we’re under an ‘acoustic’ period of our music life! 😉
That’s cool. I’m trying to get my left hand (right brain?) going better with live keys. It’s very sluggish where my right hand can fly. 😊
A ha ha…. that would be my left hand! [better than the right! 😉
Time for a Vulcan mind meld to balance out our respective neurologies! I hear they work at a distance if participants are really out there! (if only…) 😁
A ha haaaaa………. but of course they do! 😉
Marina,
I Love the abstract the most. It gives me a window into your vision!
Thank you so much! Me too! Ah… what do you see?!
