While this is our first day of ‘free circulation’,
it’ll probably be a while before I visit my favorite hill.
So, I’m still looking back to the days I walked these paths.

The hill is gorgeous and I have a hunch it’ll look just as beautiful when you’re able to take a walk again along its green pastures. I think we’re going to take it slow, too, regarding the relaxed rules. I’m afraid people will jump back into “yesterday’s normal” and the numbers will rise again. Fingers crossed. I know… I’m also afraid people will go back to ‘normal’. Eventhough lockdown’s lifted, I’m still taking precautions and avoiding moving about unless necessary, so the hill will have to wait a while. 😉

Even the pictures relax and re-energize.
Just be cautious and stay a bit apart. This is not over and we may have rolling lockdowns and hot spots.
But nothing is better and healthier than sunny and warm! Find it and relish it!

One of the last Doors lps I got into. Taped on a shiny Maxell c-60 (remember those?) and listened in pristine nature… which was in stark contrast to the brooding, dreamlike atmosphere of the tune. I think Unknown Solider is on that tape. Or maybe it was another with some overlap? I don’t remember!
I understand your unwillingness to leap back out. It’s like being in an incubator. We must take baby steps at first, I guess. 🙂

I remember those and BASF, TDK and even some Nakamichi! I was a diehard fan of tapes even long after cds.
Baby steps i think is the safest way to go… especially after all this effort. 😉
Right… each brand had its unique tone. I had one of my Traffic lps on TDK and it was very bright and clear not as much bass. I was never impressed by BASF. I still have a lot of tapes in the basement. A friend of mine once joked that they’d bury me with my tapes! 😂

We are not open yet. Construction sites are just now allowed, and garden centres along with food and drug stores. Mask wearing is all the rage, for intelligent people. Oh yeah, I wear one, and I carry hand sanitizer.
I made my own mask, and found a couple of packs with 10 in each pack at an Asian Grocery.
The beach across the street is closed, but people go anyway, and they don’t distance. Scary! Guess I won’t be going to the beach. I’m heading out for my first alley walk since March 25, tomorrow or Thursday. The alley is safer than the street, anyway. I hope other people haven’t figured that out. Don’t know if I’ll find any art, but who knows what artists might have been up to in the nights!
Also, I’m not straying far from my hood.

I know… even though we’re open, masks are a must, at least in crowded places and transport. I also wear gloves. Hand sanitizers were always in my bag so that hasn’t changed for me. Funny thing I heard about beaches is that they are planning to put plexiglass dividers!!!!🙄🤔 Eventhough we’re open I’ve been avoiding places with people unless necessary.
I’m glad to hear you’re also being cautious. I hope you do find more great art in your hood!

If you wish! You see there’s a double reason. 1. when we visited the shelter, they introduced her to us as ‘Queen’ – Hera was the name we gave her when we adopted her and 2. well, the obvious one: she IS one!!!!! 😉 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
