International Dog Day 2020

After posting Laika [Trentemøller : Moan] at Oannes blog earlier today, I realized that today, August 26, is

International Dog Day

Dog Love is Every Day!  😉

It is a day to celebrate the special bond between dogs and humans and to encourage adoption. It is universally✽ agreed that dogs make for loyal companions and are often considered man’s best friend.

So take the time with your 4legged today

and if you’re considering bringing one into your home:

ADOPT, don’t shop!

✽Well, when they say “universally” there is one man excluded: Kim Jong-un, who has ordered pet dogs to be confiscated, in Pyongyang, saying they are “a ‘tainted’ trend by bourgeouis ideology”. Authorities have identified households with pet dogs and are forcing them to give them up or forcefully confiscating them and putting them down. Dog owners fear that their pets are headed for …meals.

Say your government decided to enact something like this and one day you hear a knock at your door, seeing men in uniforms coming to confiscate your pal,

    All I can say is I’m glad I live in Canada.
    I would rise up, with all the rest of the people. Dictatorship is harsh, and we may have one south of the border soon.
    N. Korea sucks, and I feel for people there who have fund some beauty in owning a loving pet.
