I’ve always found earth patterns fascinating.
Sometimes random, other times symmetrical, other abstract…
It’s very rare that I look towards south
when north, west and most of the east are graced by the sea
however,
south view is beautiful in its own way
There’s a small forest
with hidden treasures.
These are taken from a distance and with a ‘conventional’ camera, so quality isn’t good. However, it’s what I had with me and they serve as reminders!

That first photo is so interesting! The leaves look like they started spiraling around the tree but it said, “no thanks, I just want to be alone today.” Neat what you realize when you just stand still.

For some reason this reminds me of many years ago when I took a trip to Georgian Bay in the winter with my parents and their Skidoos. I didn’t like it in the winter too much so only did this once or twice. Anyhow, the entire island and all water around it was frozen solid. It was entirely quiet. Miles away from civilization. I stood in a remote part and listened to the silence. The only thing I heard was one tiny, frozen leaf moving in the wind.
Sigh. I miss that silence!

The combination of green and grey that you show strikes me as being somewhat unusual.
Olive trees have this silver gray leafing that can seem unusual. Greece is full of those, so they seem ‘normal’ to me! 😉 But I always love the contrast they create with other trees.

In the chaos of wild spaces, as opposed to cultivated parks and gardens, there’s often the most random and artistic ‘arrangements.’ Hugs for sharing these!
