Earth Nerve Net pt10 [The Woods]

I’ve always found earth patterns fascinating.
Sometimes random, other times symmetrical, other abstract…

It’s very rare that I look towards south

when north, west and most of the east are graced by the sea

however,

south view is beautiful in its own way

There’s a small forest

with hidden treasures.

These are taken from a distance and with a ‘conventional’ camera, so quality isn’t good. However, it’s what I had with me and they serve as reminders!

Enjoy a beautiful Wednesday!

Happy Hump Day!

Remember beauty is everywhere when you keep your eyes and mind open.

  1. That first photo is so interesting! The leaves look like they started spiraling around the tree but it said, “no thanks, I just want to be alone today.” Neat what you realize when you just stand still.

  2. For some reason this reminds me of many years ago when I took a trip to Georgian Bay in the winter with my parents and their Skidoos. I didn’t like it in the winter too much so only did this once or twice. Anyhow, the entire island and all water around it was frozen solid. It was entirely quiet. Miles away from civilization. I stood in a remote part and listened to the silence. The only thing I heard was one tiny, frozen leaf moving in the wind.

    Sigh. I miss that silence!

    • Olive trees have this silver gray leafing that can seem unusual. Greece is full of those, so they seem ‘normal’ to me! 😉 But I always love the contrast they create with other trees.

  3. We are our harshest critics…
I love these photos and they have a dreamy quality to them. The first and last two in particular. Of course, each has its charm as well!

    • We are but I think that helps us evolve and do better! 😉😘
Those two intrigued me after I saw them. They are different spots in that forest yet my framing is oddly the same! 😉 So happy you enjoyed them! They were dreamy to me too!
      Many hugs and 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Happy Thursday, kind lady D! 🤗🤗🤗

  4. You have an eye for those hidden treasures, Marina! Sometimes what we typically ignore likes to prove us wrong 🙂 I love them all, but my favorite is the second one. In the chaos of wild spaces, as opposed to cultivated parks and gardens, there’s often the most random and artistic ‘arrangements.’ Hugs for sharing these!

    • Thank you so much my dearest Mary Jo! You’re right… and I’m so glad when they do (prove us wrong)! And surely wild spaces hold the best secrets! 😉 The red flowers/fruits in the second image, I hadn’t noticed until I saw the photograph!
Many hugs and wishes for beautiful Thursday! 🤗

  5. Thick, rich and Earth Nerve Netted, your pics are wonderful!

Marina, I’m listening to Michael Wollny Trio, as I see this nerve net.
It’s perfect! It’s the Michael Wollny TreeO!

  6. There is a sense of freedom when we are enclosed by the gentleness of trees. Beautiful photos, Marina!! Thank you.

“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.” William Blake
