Το πιο διάσημο από τα Concerti Grossi του Arcangelo Corelli, έργα κεφαλαιώδη για την εξέλιξη της μουσικής για έγχορδα, είναι το op. 6 No 8, στην παρτιτούρα του οποίου ο συνθέτης έχει σημειώσει : “fatto per la notte di natale” [“φτιαγμένο για τη βραδιά των Χροστουγέννων”]
Το ακούμε από την Südwesrdeutches Kammerorchester υπό την διεύθυνση του Gunter Wich.
Στο ξεκίνημα του πρώτου μέρους κάποιοι θα αναγνωρίσουν την εναλλαγή συγχορδιών στην οποία “βασίσθηκε” ηλεκτρονικό χιτ των late ‘90s [βλ. βίντεο, κάτω]

The most well known of Arcangelo Corelli’s Concerti Grossi, a collection of woks essential in the evolution of strings music, is op. 6 No 8, the one that bears the inscription : “fatto per la notte di natale” [“made for Christmas night”]
We hear it from Südwesrdeutches Kammerorchester conducted by Gunter Wich.
In the beginning of the first movement, some will recognize the chord progression on which a famous electronic hit of the late ‘90s was “based” [watch video below].
