The music is fantastic! What were the lyrics/poem? I’d be curious to see if they evoke the same feelings this music does for me? And where have I heard this before?! Did you use this to accompany part of your virtual art show? My eerie feeling pairs with the idea of the artificial construct of time…like the infamous hallucinatory ‘machine elves’ laughing with glee at our slavery to clocks. I hear them laugh and continue to wind the clock throughout this piece. The sun and moon and the stars are more preferable, without all the numbers shouting at us, don’t you think? 😉
Oh, indeed they are much more preferable without the dials, numbers and digits!
What an ear! Yes, I did use it in my art show video! 😉
About the lyrics, these were part of fifteen syllable rhymed verses, words of advice “Grief of Death”, written by Gioustos Glikis in 1520. It speaks about time. How the moment passed never returns and how one moment succeeds another. The word of advice is to choose the right path of virtue before it is too late and our time ends.
…roughly!
I’ve only ever recorded it at home with voice. xoxoxo
Thank you for this! I will search for these 🤗🤗🤗
I’m afraid you won’t be able to find them. I couldn’t find them either and they are in Greek! I will try to translate them and send them with the original by email. xoxo
Please, take your time! 🤗
😘😘
Finally… I’ve emailed it! 😉
Oh, thank you dear Marina! I shall read and listen and respond soon! Hugs & kisses!
Now YOU take your time!!!!! xoxoxoxo
and more hugs!
That’s another excellent piece. Very timely.
🤣😉 timely! Thanks, my friend! The original piece was with lyrics (old greek poem I put music to that speaks about time.)
