Εκτός αφιερώματος στους συνθέτες του μηνός, αλλά εντός “Εθνικής Μουσικής Σχολής” υπό την ιδιότητα του ιδρυτή της, ο επιφανέστερος των “κλασικών” συνθετών της σύγχρονης Ελλάδας* Μανώλης Καλομοίρης [1883-1968].
Ανήμερα εθνικής επετείου ακούμε το έργο του ‘Πρελούδιο και Φούγκα για δυο πιάνα’ από τους Αλέξη Μιρόσνικοφ και Ναταλία Μιροσνίκοβα.

*όχι αναγκαστικά ο αξιολογότερος – αλλά αυτή είναι μια άλλη ιστορία που θα συζητήσουμε αύριο.

Manolis Kalomiris [1883 – 1968], founder of the Greek National School of Music was the prominent Greek “classical” composer of the 20th century – not necessarily the most remarkable, but this is another story we ‘ll discuss tomorrow.
On the day of our national anniversary we hear his work ‘Prelude and Fugue for two pianos’ by Alexis Mirosnikov and Natalia Mirosnikova.
