Πρόκειται ασφαλώς περί συνωνυμίας – ο Lester γεννήθηκε μ’ αυτό το όνομα, χρόνια προτού ο David υιοθετήσει το “Bowie” ως καλλιτεχνικό ψευδώνυμο.
Κατά ενδιαφέροντα τρόπο, ο τρομπετίστας – συνθέτης της jazz έχει συμμετάσχει σε άλμπουμ [Black Tie White Noise – 1993] του συνονόματου. Εδώ τον ακούμε σε ένα ανατριχιαστικό στιγμιότυπο από το δικό του άλμπουμ The Great Pretender του 1981.

It’s a synonymy of course – Lester was born with this name, years before David adopted “Bowie” as a moniker.
Interestingly, the jazz trumpeter-composer has participated on an album [Black Tie White Noise – 1993] by his namesake. Here we hear him on a creepy snapshot from his own 1981 album The Great Pretender.
