Το πρώτο απ’ τα κομμάτια μας είναι μια σύνθεση των Jason Swinscoe, Philip France & Dominic Smith από το άλμπουμ Ma Fleur (2007) της βρετανικής nu-jazz μπάντας The Cinematic Orchestra. Φωνητική συμμετοχή : Fontella Bass. Περνάμε στο νεαρό Terje Ryptal των late 60s και σ’ ένα κομμάτι από το άλμπουμ – ντεμπούτο του στη δισκογραφία, Bleak House. Τέλος, δέκα χρόνια πιο πίσω, ακούμε την Anita O’Day να σουινγκάρει με την ορχήστρα του BIlly May στο κλασικό ‘Get Out OF Town’ του Cole Porter.

The first one of our tracks is a composition by Jason Swinscoe, Philip France, and Dominic Smith from the 2007 album Ma Fleur by the British nu-jazz band The Cinematic Orchestra. Vocal contribution : Fontella Bass. Next, we shift to the young, late ‘60s Terje Rypdal and a track from his debut album, Bleak House. Finally, going back a decade earlier, we hear Anita O’Day swinging with Billy May’s Orchestra on the Cole Porter’s classic ‘Get Out of Town’.
