from Oannes Songs Of Childhood Nostalgia #8
Η συμμετοχή των Radiohead στον κύκλο Songs Of Childhood Nostalgia με ένα πολύ όμορφο στοχαστικό τραγούδι σε δύο εκδόσεις.
Προσωπικά προτιμώ την αυθεντική, στούντιο εκδοχή εποχής Amnesiac [2001] από την live – Hail To The Thief, δυο χρόνια αργότερα.✻
Radiohead‘s participation in the Songs Of Childhood Nostalgia cycle is a beautiful & thoughtful song in two versions. I personally prefer the original, Amnesiac era studio version [2001] to the live one from Hail To The Thief, two years later.

❝ There’s a little child
Running round this house
And he never leaves
He will never leave
And the fog comes up from the sewers
And glows in the darkBaby alligators in the sewers grow up fast
Grow up fast
Anything you want it can be done
How did you go bad?
Did you go bad?
Did you go bad?
Somethings will never wash away
Did you go bad?
Did you go bad? ❞

Such a great name for a band and also the lp OK COMPUTER. I mean, how cool and multi-layered is that? So I listened to this band with great expectations but for me the music just didn’t really resonate. Maybe one song but I can’t even remember its name!
p.s. nice photographic work. 👍
Ah, thank you!!! 😊
They have written a few good songs (like this one and Talk Show Host) but there’s something (maybe that miserious loser feeling) that’s not my cup of tee either.
Seemed to me like it was sort of a washed out next-gen Pink Floyd sound. Already been done better!… “The lunatic is on the grass…” 😁
…what a song…
Love the picture!!! Great interpretation!

Ah, Radiohead. And a remarkable photograph. How did you get the light rim on the ridge?
What a compliment coming from you!!!! Actually, very little is left unedited from the original photo. Top part was inverted [that’s how I got the rim] and I also enhanced whites and contrast. This was a photo of fog rising but during daytime and I wanted to make it cold and dark… I hope the explanation doesn’t spoil the impression! 😉
Nothing can spoil the impression. This is a wonderful work.
Double happy! Thank you so much, my friend!
Oh I remember too…fun ☺️🤓 have a musical day Marina ~ smiles Hedy ☺️
Ah, thank you, Hedy! You too and a beautiful weekend ahead! 🤗😘🙏
