Πρωτόλεια ηλεκτρονικά, εξαιρετικά χαμηλοί τόνοι, minimal instrumentation και τα ονειροπόλα, ντροπαλά φωνητικά της Alison Statton. Αυτά, εν μέσω ωρυόμενου new wave των early ‘80s. Το cult status των Young Marble Giants σε πείσμα των παραπάνω και της ελάχιστης δισκογραφικής τους παρουσίας (ένα LP και 2 Eps στα 3 χρόνια της ύπαρξής τους) θα ήταν ανεξήγητo, αν στους οπαδούς τους δεν συμπεριλαμβάνονταν οι Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love, Peter Buck, Belle & Sebastian.
