Μουσική του Dino Marinuzzi Jr. για την ιταλική cult ταινία επιστημονικής φαντασίας των ’60s Planet Of The Vampires. Στατικό, και με σενάριο στα όρια του προσχηματικού, το φιλμ του Mario Bava έχει να επιδείξει αισθητικό ενδιαφέρον και υποβλητικά ζοφερή ατμόσφαιρα. Παρά το ιδιαίτερα χαμηλό του budget, θεωρείται σημείο αναφοράς για λίαν φιλόδοξες, μεταγενέστερες παραγωγές όπως το Alien του Ridley Scott – ή το Prometheus του ιδίου.
Ακούμε αποσπάσματα από τo αξιοσημείωτο soundtrack – ελαχιστότατα από αυτά αφέθηκαν στην αμερικάνικη βερσιόν.

Music by Dino Marinuzzi Jr. for the Italian cult sci-fi film of the ’60s Planet Of The Vampires. Static, and with an almost pretext – like scenario, Mario Bava’s film has nevertheless an aesthetic interest and evocatively bleak atmosphere. Despite its extremely low budget, the movie is considered a reference point for ambitious, later productions such as Ridley Scott’s Alien and Prometheus.
We hear some excerpts from the remarkable soundtrack – very few of them crept into the American version of the film.
