Ένας παρεξηγημένος στην εποχή του και όχι ακριβώς “επίκαιρος” στις μέρες μας καλλιτέχνης, σε ένα από τα λιγότερο γνωστά τραγούδια του. Για μένα όμως, το Kolly Kibber’s Bithday από το πρώτο σόλο άλμπουμ του Julian Cope, είναι ένα απέριττο αριστούργημα που με συγκινεί όπως την πρώτη φορά που το άκουσα.

An artist misunderstood in his time, and not exactly “relevant” in our days, and one of his lesser-known songs.
For me though, Kolly Kibber’s Bithday from Julian Cope’s debut solo album, is an unadorned masterpiece that moves me like the first time I heard it.
