Πέρα από τους “προσωπικούς” λόγους που κάνουν το Viva! [Roxy Music] αγαπημένο μου live άλμπουμ όλων των εποχών, υπάρχει εδώ κάτι πολύ σπάνιο : οι εκτελέσεις όλων των κομματιών ανεξαιρέτως είναι καλύτερες από εκείνες του στούντιο, και όχι μόνο από πλευράς [“εύλογης”] αμεσότητας. Ο ήχος και το παίξιμο του γκρουπ έχουν βελτιωθεί εκπληκτικά μέσα σε ελάχιστο διάστημα, για να μη μιλήσουμε για τις ερμηνείες του Bryan.

Apart from the “personal” reasons that make Viva! [Roxy Music] my favorite live album of all time, there is something extremely rare here: all tracks’ performances, without exception are better than the studio ones, and not only in terms of [“reasonable”] immediacy. The band’s sound and playing has improved amazingly in a very short time, not to mention Bryan’s performances.
