Μένουμε Πολωνία, με ένα απόσπασμα από το Stabat Mater του μεγάλου συνθέτη των αρχών 20ου αι., Karol Szymanowski. Ο ύμνος, μελοποιημένος από αναρίθμητους συνθέτες στο πέρασμα των αιώνων (αρχής γενομένης από τον αναγεννησιακό Josquin des Prez) αναφέρεται στο μαρτύριο της Θεοτόκου κατά τη διάρκεια της Σταύρωσης του Χριστού. Ο τίτλος : «Είθε ο Ιερός Σταυρός Του Να Με Υπερασπιστεί».

We remain in Poland, with an excerpt from Stabat Mater by the great early 20th century composer Karol Szymanowski. The hymn, set to music by countless composers over the centuries (beginning with the Renaissance composer Josquin des Prez), is about Virgin Mary’s suffering during the Crucifixion of Christ. The title : “May His Sacred Cross Defend Me”.
