Η αίσθηση που είχα πάντα από τους SLAG ήταν αυτή ενός σχήματος με δυνατότητες που για κάποιο λόγο σπανίως εξαντλούν. Δεν παύουν να μου είναι ιδιαίτερα συμπαθείς σαν ελαφρώς “αποκλίνουσα” περίπτωση της post punk περιόδου, με κάτι από Smiths, αλλά και ενδιαφέρουσα παρουσία των keyboards στον ήχο τους. Ακούμε το “Close To The Sea” απ΄το Feeding The Flame – reworking κομματιού απ’ το δισκογραφικό τους ντεμπούτο.

The feeling I always had about SLAG was that of a band with potential, which for some reason they rarely fully realize. They remain particularly likable to me as a slightly “deviant” case of the post-punk era, with a touch of The Smiths, but also with an interesting presence of keyboards in their sound. We hear “Close To The Sea” from Feeding The Flame – a reworking of a track from their debut album.
