Το Free Ride (1977) είναι ο τελευταίος καρπός μιας συνεργασίας ανάμεσα στους δυο μουσικούς που ξεκίνησε από τα early ’60s. Περισσότερα αποσπάσματά της, όπως και γενικότερα μουσική του Lalo Schifrin, κινηματογραφική και μη, θα ακούσουμε το επόμενο διάστημα.
Για την ώρα έχουμε τα ‘Ozon Madness’ (00:00), ‘Love Poem For Donna’ (06:28), συνθέσεις του LS από το Free Ride. Μαζί και μια εναλλακτική εκτέλεση του δεύτερου κομματιού από το Ins And Outs του 1982, με πρωταγωνιστές εδώ τον συνθέτη στο πιάνο και τον φλαουτίστα Sam Most.

Free Ride (1977) is the final fruit of a collaboration between the two musicians that began in the early ’60s. More excerpts from it, as well as music by Lalo Schifrin, both cinematic and otherwise, will be heard in the coming period.
For now, we have ‘Ozon Madness’ (00:00), ‘Love Poem For Donna’ (06:28), compositions by LS from Free Ride. Also included is an alternative performance of the latter piece from Ins And Outs (1982), featuring the composer on piano and flutist Sam Most.
