Ακούμε δυο κομμάτια από το “all-time classic” άλμπουμ Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat του, συνθέτη, κιμπορντίστα, κιθαρίστα, μπασίστα (μεταξύ άλλων) Charanjit Singh, από τους διαμορφωτές του ινδικού κινηματογραφικού ήχου και …πρωτοπόρου του Acid House όπως μπορεί κανείς να ακούσει σ’ αυτές τις “βλάσφημες” ηχογραφήσεις του 1982. Η ιδέα περιγράφεται από τον τίτλο. Η δεύτερη raga (Megh Malhar) αποτελεί ένα είδος δέησης για την πρόκληση βροχής.

We listen to two tracks from the “all-time classic” album Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat by composer, keyboardist, guitarist, bassist (among others) Charanjit Singh, a key figure in shaping of the Indian cinematic sound and …pioneer of Acid House, as can be heard in these “blasphemous” 1982 recordings. The concept is described by the title. The second raga (Megh Malhar) serves as a kind of prayer for invoking rain.
