“Οι Gang Of Four και οι Talking Heads (ανάμεσα σε άλλους) δίνουν ραντεβού στο cyberspace” – κάπως έτσι θα μπορούσε να περιγραφεί ο ήχος των LCD Soundsystem από το Μπρούκλιν της Νέας Υόρκης, του σχήματος που ίδρυσε στα early ‘00s ο τραγουδιστής & multi-instrumentalist James Murphy. Αυτό που είναι δύσκολο φυσικά να περιγραφεί είναι η επίδραση τραγουδιών όπως αυτά τα δύο που ακούμε από το τελευταίο μέχρι στιγμής άλμπουμ τους American Dream.

“Gang Of Four and Talking Heads (among others) meet up in cyberspace” – that’s roughly how one could describe the sound of LCD Soundsystem from Brooklyn, New York, the band that singer & multi-instrumentalist James Murphy formed in the early ‘00s. What is naturally difficult to describe, of course, is the impact of songs like these two that we’re listening to from their latest album to date, American Dream.
