Από τη jazz δισκογραφία του αντισυμβατικού (άνευ εισαγωγικών) κλασικού βιολονίστα Nigel Kennedy διαλέγουμε το άλμπουμ The Blue Note Sessions – κυκλοφορία του 2006. Ακούμε δυο tracks : το classic του Horace Silver ‘Song For My Father’, και τη σύνθεση του Jack DeJohnette ‘Song For World Forgiveness’ του Jack DeJohnette. Ο συνθέτης – ντράμερ συμμετέχει στα sessions, μαζί με τους Ron Carter (κοντραμπάσο), Kenny Werner – πιάνο, JD Allen – σαξόφωνο.

From the jazz discography of the uncompromising (without quotes) classical violinist Nigel Kennedy, we pick his 2006 album The Blue Note Sessions. We hear two tracks: the Horace Silver classic ‘Song for My Father’ and Jack DeJohnette’s ‘Song for World Forgiveness’.
