✻
From the symphonic poem Feste Romane (Roman Festivals) by the neo-classicist Ottorino Respighi, one of the most important Italian composers of the 20th century & essentially ignored due to relations with the fascist regime after his premature death, we hear the fourth movement, La Befana (Epiphany). Eugene Ormandy is conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra.
