  1. I had an exhibit of characters too. They were abstract taken from chinese characters. I’ll be posting some of them soon. How big were yours? what size and kind of paper? Did you use sumi ink? Did you have any lessons in writing the characters or did you just make it up like I did.? We both should put the size, media and date on our work. right now I’m posting older work mostly because I’m trying to post every day and I have the photographs,

    • Thank you Carla. I can’t wait to see your work on characters. By “characters” here, I’m referring to human characters/faces. I know it’s confusing and I should have used “faces” or another word instead, but characters in greek also mean personalities and that was what I wanted to show. You are right about mediums… Well, this was relatively small: 21x29cm, with sumi-ink, but paper …you caught me there! I paint in any surface I find at hand! [I think date is there: 1999] By the way, I love your artists’ books!
