Uh-oh! I leaned in too close, and snagged my sweater on the wire. I tore a hole in it getting free– but that’s good. There was a bad ambrosia stain in that spot, and now I won’t have to send the sweater to the cleaners. I love happy endings, don’t you? 👍😊

Awwww….. please please please, I am not a photographer and these were taken (I’m ashamed to say) with my phone camera! On my doggy walks it’s hard carrying a camera… I just take these as reminders of pictures I see. Thank you so much for the reblog and most flattering compliments! 🙏🙂

I know, with rust… not that I would go that close and get cut but I had a Tetanus shot last year, so I’m covered for… a decade I think! 😉

Woof! WP is not perfect, but it’s pretty great. I try to remember to check SPAM folders every 2-3 weeks. YES, tetanus lasts a long time. I have mine.

Fair enough! Myself I would love to take people pics but usually don’t for two main reasons… privacy concerns when web posting… and city traffic! I took photos of rusty shovels and wind vanes with bullet holes thru them etc back in the day… so feel I’ve mostly covered that ground in my artistic development. 🙂🌈🙂

The closer I’ve gotten to city shots were my colored bubbles from the raindrops on my windshield while …driving! 😉 But I somehow managed to make that abstract too! 😉 Even from our apartment [in the city] when I photograph a sunrise, or rain etc I erase [by either cutting or bluring to abstraction] buildings that may …intrude! 😉
Yeah, I was in an oppressed neighborhood the other day and tempted to take some ultra-bleak shots, but I didn’t! 😊The windvane was as old as my great-grandpa, one of the first “settlers” on our old Island.. People seemed to like to use the vane for target practice… before the gov stepped in with new rules and regs! One day I’ll dig up those photos and scan them. Somewhere in a shoebox… it’s a whole series of “life out of balance” themed shots… 😊🙂
