Spectacular, Marina. Your photography reminds me to look back into Greek Mythology. You had me searching Selene, (Σεληνη) goddess of the moon, I understand that she was a Titan who rode sidesaddle on a horse or driving a chariot drawn by a pair of winged steeds. I am certain that I see Selene’s chariot in your photos. Sending many hugs!!
What beautiful photos of the “Buck Moon” as it is called in the US of A. The antenna is the perfect urban antlers for a Greek version of the Buck Moon. Thank you for posting these wonderful shots, Marina. We had cloud cover when the Buck Moon rose last Saturday. We saw it later in the evening, but it was high in the sky.
Hi Rebecca. It’s called the Buck Moon because the end of July is when bucks’ antlers are in full growth. It’s also called the moulting moon, the salmon moon, the berry moon and the raspberry moon by different tribes in the US of A.
Nice. Liking those aerial silhouettes! 📡🌕
Happy August, dearest 🐓
