Caravaggio was quite a character—some would say a scoundrel. A few years ago we watched a documentary about him. Reply
Well, hard to know really. Hard enough knowing ourselves, let alone someone soooooo many years ago. His painting genius is more than enough for me! 😉 Reply
We’ve managed to see several of his paintings in museums, including this one at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, 200 miles north of Austin: https://kimbellart.org/collection/ap-198706 Reply
A wonderful tribute to Caravaggio, Marina. I have always appreciated the story behind this painting. Reply

Caravaggio is wonderful.
The more I see his paintings the harder it gets to fathom the extend of his talent!
