✻
On the intoxicating verge between romance and Impressionism, Gabriel Fauré’s voice is one of the most recognizable in the late 19th – early 20th centuries. This fine melody is a little token of his art. We hear it in its cello and piano version, performed by Steven Isserlis [c] and Pascal Devoyon [p].
