Έχω μια ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία στον Lee Hazlewood, για τον τρόπο με τον οποίο συχνά “μεγαλουργεί” χρησιμοποιώντας τα πιο ταπεινά υλικά. Και φυσικά για τον ήχο της φωνής του.
Τιμώντας τον σαν μέλος του July born club ακούμε τρία τραγούδια του : τα δυο “Some Velvet Morning” [03:27], “Lady Bird” [07:12] ντουέτο με την Nancy Sinatra, και το πιο αγαπημένο μου, “Sand” [00:00] ντουέτο με την Suzi Jane Hokom.

I have a special fondness for Lee Hazlewood, for the way he often achieves greatness using the humblest means. And of course for the sound of his voice.
Honoring him as a member of the July born club we hear three of his songs: Two of them, “Some Velvet Morning” [03:27], “Lady Bird” [07:12] duet with Nancy Sinatra, and my favorite one, “Sand”, duet with Suzi Jane Hokom.
