Ο Darius Milhaud [1872-1974] επιφανής Γάλλος συνθέτης, μέλος της ομάδας των 6 και από τους σημαντικότερους μοντερνιστές του 20ου αιώνα, ήταν από τους πρώτους που επέτρεψαν στον εαυτό τους τον επηρεασμό από “εξωτικά είδη” όπως η jazz και η μουσική της Λατινικής Αμερικής.
Εδώ διευθύνει ο ίδιος την Orchestre Lamoureux στο Concertino d’ Automne, op. 309, για δυο πιάνα, μέρος της ενότητας “Οι Τέσσερις Εποχές”. Σολίστ οι Geneviève Joy, Jacqueline Bonneau.

Darius Milhaud [1872-1974] prominent French composer, a member of the group of 6 and one of the most important modernists of the 20th century, was among the first who allowed themselves the influence of “exotic genres” such as jazz and Latin American music.
Here he is conducting Orchestre Lamoureux, on the Concertino d’ Automne, op. 309 for two pianos, part of the The Four Seasons cycle. Geneviève Joy, Jacqueline Bonneau are the soloists.
