Ακούμε δυο κομμάτια από το Ramsey Lewis Trio, και την διασκευή του RL στο spiritual “Wade In The Water”.

Defamed by ’60s avant guard as “easy” and “commercialized”, Ramsey Lewis’ music had great resonance, spreading waves of euphoria among wide audiences, blurring the boundaries between pop and jazz, reminiscent of something forgotten: the latter had begun as music for dance and entertainment, and there is nothing wrong about it.
We hear two tracks by the Ramsey Lewis Trio, and RL’s cover of the spiritual “Wade In The Water”.
